(Y/N) woke up to the sounds of scampering feet and shushed voices before turning to her side, feeling at the empty space next to her.

"Law?" She yawned before sitting up, not really surprised about the surgeons' early hours when she heard the shower right before it shut off.

She watched him get out and blushed at the sight of him only covered with a towel.

"I just need to finish up some things in the lab." He made his way over and rested his knee on the mattress before leaning down to peck her lips with a smirk. "Only for a few hours." he assured, putting her worries about him leaving again to rest.

She pouted as he pulled away and made his way over to the dresser before quickly hiding her face in the blanket when his hands reached for the towel. 

After a minute or so, he turned to her with a chuckle. "I'm dressed now (Y/N)-ya."

She looked up to see him in front of her with his usual black short sleeve shirt and spotted jeans. 

"I'll be back at breakfast." he leaned down again and this time, she grabbed onto his neck and wrapped her legs around his waist, locking them together. 

He was surprised but soon chuckled at the way she puffed her cheeks. "(Y/N)-ya, I have to work." 

She shook her head and laid back down against the bed, pulling him with her so they laid on their side.
"Five more minutes. I missed you." she muttered against his neck.

Sighing, he hugged her back while brushing his lips across her forehead. "You're unusually needy this morning." 

She huffed and hid her face further. "Sorry." 

He let out a quiet chuckle and placed a kiss at her temple before nuzzling the side of her head. "Don't be. I don't mind it." he whispered against her ear before facing her.

They looked into each other's eyes while Laws ran his hand across her back soothingly, grazing with his nails from time to time, making (Y/N) purr quietly as her hand grew slack in his hair. She giggled when he began placing slow pecks all over her face.

Cold personality or not, towards her there was a warmth and playfulness to him that made her sad that the rest of the world was unaware of it, but also proud that only she was on the receiving end of that affection. He truly was the light of her life.

Her laughter stopped when he reached her lips for a soft kiss. Then another. And another.

Humming softly, she pulled him closer, not letting him break away this time as she accepted his advances by parting her lips when he deepened the kiss and her heart began to beat frantically. Something in her didn't want to stop. She wanted to see how far she could manage this time around. 

But after a while, her body began to warm up and ache the same way it did the other night and she pulled away, breathing heavily. "Law." 

Her eyes widened at how unusually husky her voice sounded, which seemed to have spurred the doctor on and she gasped when his lips brushed against the spot between her neck and shoulder, grinning triumphantly when that area tensed up from his touch.

"L-Law." He picked up on the distress in her voice and moved to face her once more. "Too much?" 

She nodded sheepishly, "I'm sorry." almost flinching when he brought his hand up and cupped her cheek.
