Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Carmen who dreamed of talking to animals. So every day, she practiced and practiced to see if it would work, but it didn't. She decided to not give up and she kept trying until one day... a tiny, delicate baby bird understood her. Carmen had asked "You actually understand me? A tiny, baby bird like you understands me?" The baby bird responded by saying "Of course I understand you, you're a special type of human being that yearns to learn more and more every day about us animals which makes us very happy." Carmen was so ecstatic about what she discovered that she burst inside her house to tell her parents the exciting news! When she found her parents in the living room, she decided to tell them the great news! "Mom, dad guess what" Carmen exclaimed! Her parents both looked at her with a curious look on their faces... "What is it dear?" Her mom asked. Carmen had started to explain what happened and how it was always her dream to talk to animals, which she had decided not to tell her parents because they wouldn't understand her crazy imagination. Finally, her mom said "Honey are you sure this happened? I mean people can't usually talk to animals. It's not usually heard of that much." Carmen then responded by saying "Of course it happened!! Would I ever lie to you?" Her dad said, "I know you wouldn't lie to us at all but this story definitely sounds like one to me, no offense."
