"Morning," a familiar voice said.

I could only stare at the person standing in front of me in disbelief. A pair of deep, piercing viridian eyes were looking back at me. It was a man with wavy, gelled up dark green hair. His rectangular face has high cheekbones; his jaw was grown with some stubble.

"Thanks for coming, Mat," said the young man with golden locks as he put his hand on the other man's shoulder.

"Too easy," he replied, shaking his head.

"I thought you don't want to get involved in this anymore-" I said.

"I don't," Matias said curtly, "I have no intentions to help out the Amarillos. I'm here to help you catch some Pokemon - on a personal capacity,"

"Well, but technically-" I said.

"What you do with them is none of my concern," he said, "you put your neck out for me before, I'm just here returning the favour,"

"He works for Professor Rowan in Sandgem now, he knows where to catch anything," Antonio said, "just name it,"

...what just happened?! I thought.

This feels too easy, it almost feels like something's gonna go wrong again!

"Well for now, I have a Zubat, but I'm not sure what else I want to catch," I said, "I usually just catch whatever's on the way for training with gramps, then release them,"

"I can figure out a competitive team for you. You're competing in singles, right?" Matias asked.

"Sorry?" I asked.

"The league - you're competing, right?" He asked, "isn't that what you were gonna do last time before I stopped you?"

I hung my head and put my hands behind me.

"So..." I said.

"I understand, it is a bit much to go on after that," he said, "...I wasn't expecting you to drop it completely, but... I get it,"

"...last night, all the mistakes I made when I was ambushed..." I said, "...I was responsible for that. I've avoided battles for far too long now..."

"You didn't tell me about that," Antonio said.

"I- look..." I said, "I'm trying-"

"I assume this is how you got Antonia to send you on the mission?" he asked as he folded his arms. His protruding chestnut eyes gazed on me from above as they narrowed.

"...well..." I said and hung my head.

Matias sighed and ran his hand through his hair.

"What's passed has passed. Looking at the current situation, however... and from what he told me last night," Matias nodded towards Antonio, "it seems like the only way for you to reverse this whole issue is by finding a power even stronger than Giratina itself,"

"...and how do I do that?" I asked and gulped.

"Find Arceus," he answered, "I looked into Arceus a while back - it's quite a tricky one. You need to play this instrument called the Azure Flute at the Spear Pillar, but it only responds to trainers it deems worthy. What I'm about to say may upset you, but... Azure Flutes are only held by champions, meaning you probably need to win the league for real this time to get the situation back under control,"

"...this sounds way above my pay grade," I said.

"BUT you'll have another thing lined up if you ever want to quit the association," he said and pointed at me, "and they can't stop you from registering if they want this whole thing fixed,"
