"I'm done with this fucking life, Jimin."

Jimin couldn't help himself but reach out for Sumin's cheek and stroke her cold, bruised skin while she was still choking on the air.

It was painful for him to see her like this and he didn't even want to imagine how she felt after going through a hell of a year. Even now, she was beaten up and Jimin was worried to death. But still, he couldn't utter any words. His mouth was shut and he didn't dare to open it to make Sumin angry.

She still had a smile on her lips after feeling Jimin's warm hand against her skin. Her heart was racing but Sumin couldn't get out the thoughts that her friend did those mistakes. It hurt so badly and it always replayed in front of her eyes.

"I'm so sorry, Sumin." His voice was quiet but Sumin heard him clearly. She was looking deeply into the dark eyes while he bit down on his lip to hold back his feelings. He wanted to hold the girl in his arms and tell her that everything was going to be okay, but he'd just tell lies.

Jimin knew that Sumin wouldn't be happy. Not after a year like that.

"You ruined my life." Her smile fell and her heartbroken state appeared again. For the hundredth time already, and she couldn't handle it anymore, the tears fell and the rain started to pour down but it never felt this heavy before. "Why did you hurt me like that?!"

Jimin gulped, his eyes slowly leaving hers when he felt the shame rising up. He couldn't look at her anymore, knowing that he deserved everything he got after hurting Sumin like that.

"Why did you come into my life?! Tell me why you had to play with my heart like that?!" Sumin shouted at him and pushed him away. The anger took over her and Jimin let her do what she needed to do.

Feeling her fists against his chest, Jimin felt how his clothes got wetter by any second. The rain soaked them in and it was getting colder, but everything that Sumin felt was his hard chest against her hands while she grabbed onto his shirt.

"You hurt me so much." She choked on her words and her moves got slower. She was getting weaker and Jimin noticed it when he looked straight forward, meeting her eyes while she sobbed loudly.

"I didn't mean to." That was the only thing Jimin could say and Sumin let out a quiet laugh. As if he was joking, the girl couldn't stop from laughing and pushed him away again, not caring that they were still standing in front of the large building on a public street.

"But you still did it!" The girl shouted loudly, not caring that she might get sick while they stood outside for a long time. She only wanted to hurt him physically and hit him, but she stopped when Jimin stepped closer as he felt the anger rising inside him, too.

"Sumin, I know I did mistakes but can you plea-" Without finishing his words, Sumin slapped his cheek hardly.

Jimin closed his eyes for a second to let the pain fly away but when he turned to the girl again something was different. Sumin was breathing harshly and stepped away, saying nothing. She knew what she did was a bad move since Jimin clenched his jaw, taking a deep breath before he moved closer to the small girl.

"Do it again." He hissed and stared down at her, catching the frown Sumin had on her face.

"W-what?"

"I said, do it again. Slap me as hard as I hurt you." Sumin gulped when Jimin stepped closer to her, his breath hitting her face. "Or tell me how much of an asshole I am."

The girl felt the tears building up again but she said nothing. She couldn't stand it anymore and shook her head before walking to the front door of the building to enter it and leave Jimin behind. Escaping the whole situation was the only thing that Sumin had on her mind. Seeing his face for any more seconds would give her the rest and she didn't want to spend the last minutes of her birthday like that.
