Sophie's POV

Today's Valentine's Day and I'm freaking out only because I'm scared that Drew won't like my gift. I know it's simple and basic but I want him to feel like it's meaningful, you know? I put a lot of thought and hard work into it and I believe he'll cherish it because he rarely doesn't appreciate anything I do for him.

In 6th grade, I made him a Valentine's Day card with red card stock, glue, glitter, colorful markers, and hershey's kisses. I tried adding felt but it ripped off on the bus.

He was so amazed by my hard work that he hung it up in his locker for the rest of the school year and would smile at it everytime he opened his locker. My homemade card was the topic of conversation for like two weeks after that.

I remember one year he got me a rose and I was in love with it. I still have the dead petals in a memory box underneath my bed.

Aly got jealous that she didn't get a rose but she shrugged it off once I told her that I liked him and it made her stop complaining.

I'm the type of person who likes homemade better than store bought. I feel as though homemade tells feelings rather than beauty or money.

Yeah, a necklace is beautiful and all but I'd much rather have a personal card or even a love letter. It's more than what money could ever buy. Money can't buy love.

It's whatever though! I'll be happy with whatever Drew gets me.

I already gave Aly and Josh their gifts and they were extremely grateful for them. Aly got me Edible Arrangements fruits and got me a pair of heels that I wanted. Josh got me Valentine's Juicy Drop Pop's which I was in love with because those are my favorite candies.

I'm currently preparing for Drew's arrival. He wanted to pick me up and take me to dinner tonight so I'm going to dress real nice.

I choose to wear a red velvet dress hence the main color of Valentine's Day. I top it off with red heart earrings and the new heels that Aly got me.

I search around my room for my silver heart necklace and I have no idea why I can't find it.

My room is pretty easy for a girl.

When you first walk in, you see my closet on the right and on that same wall is my bathroom door. In between the two doors are my tv and dresser. On the wall where my door into my room is, I have a vanity dresser with a giant ass mirror and vanity chair, and on the wall next to that is my loft bed with a full sized bed underneath and a smaller bed on top which holds all of my stuffed animals. On the main wall, there's a cushioned chair, a large desk which features my Macbook Air and my echo dot, and on that same wall are my mini fridge and a small table that holds my fish tank.

Don't be fooled, the inside of my vanity dresser features all of my makeup and hair products. My closet holds my dresses and summer clothes while my dresser with the tv holds my everyday apparel also known as my winter clothes.

"Katelyn Christina! Did you steal my heart necklace?" I yell to my now 15 year old sister.

She turned 15 on January 26th.

Matthew turned 19 right after my accident. It's crazy because he turned 2 years old about a week before I was born. His birthday is October 24th while mine is October 29th.
