Part One: Why Are We Here?

Day One.

This is no way in any shape or form a usual war. This is a war against other men from the same country. This war wasn't even supposed to happen

Webstar has always been a peaceful country full of togetherness. The reason for our peace is that our country was split up into 3 sub countries called Chapters. The first chapter is Amber. Amber people are miners and gold diggers. Their the reason that after the first war, we have kept our riches. The second is Cyrus. Cyrus people are the gardeners of the world. Their supposed to keep our old, young, and babies from getting hungry. The last chapter is Harmony. Harmony people are military bound families. If you're born in Harmony you're not allowed out. Unlike in Amber and Cyrus, we can't move back and forth between Chapters like they can. Everything worked out though, because if Harmony left then that would mean one thing

War.

It all started like this, America went corrupt. All the people started going crazy, and overthrew the government. However, without government, what is there? There was no outline to follow, and no one to guide them so a huge war broke out. America was completely destroyed and there was nothing left but ash. So thats when a little man named Blakelyn Webstar crawled out from rubble and created a brand new country.

Enough about that, now lets talk about current world things. My name is Archer Watson. I live in Harmony. My father passed away before he even got to go to war which is like a privilege to Harmony citizens. He was killed by a Cyrus person that tried to break into Harmony because he wanted to be a soldier. My dad was knifed. I have a younger half-sister named Violet. Her dad was sent overseas and killed over there, so we're pretty much both orphans.

My mom is named Casady. As a young girl, she fell in love with a basic trained soldier named Silas. About 6 months later, their married and she becomes pregnant. However, 8 months into her pregnancy she is widowed. She has her son, which is me...Archer. When I turned 4 my mom met Howard. Howard and my mom got married about a year later and my sister was born. My mother is a wonderful woman, she's very strong. She never let the loss of her true love take over her and that's what I respect about her.

I started basic training about a year ago, and now I went right on the being a soldier. Now I'm sitting in my room writing this. I mainly want to talk about why we're at war. But to do that I have to start at two weeks ago on day one.

A fellow soldier and I were just walking the border of Harmony when we came across a huge mountain with a tunnel cut through the middle. We walked through it and walked for about ten miles.

"What do you think the other side holds?' Asked Ash

"I have no idea but I'm kind of excited to find out." I said.

RIght after I said that, the tunnel opened. On the other side was a beautiful looking city that I've never seen before. Instead of the chapters looking run down, and desert like, this place had beautiful flowers I've never seen before. And huge trees that looked to be out of a photo album of America. And then there was field grounds, and huge military base. There was huge stream that was just sparkling from the gold.

"I'm naming it" I claimed all of the sudden. "This is my chapter"

"Go ahead." Ash told me.

I was too in awe to think, so I walked to a near barn close to me. The first thing I seen was a huge board and spray paint. I walked outside and then wrote on the board, and put it up near the tunnel.
