Roommates!

Chapter 30

It's been a week since the party. Everything pretty much shifted back to normal, kinda.

Zoe no longer lived with Jill, Jenna, Nancy, Elias, and now Gooby. Gooby moved in sometime after Zoe decided on leaving, especially after her little scene at the party.

Thanksgiving was coming in close, and the main group was outside, on the swing set or patio chairs they brought over to the swing set. They were creating plans, something to do for Thanksgiving weekend.

"Oh! What about we just stay in our rooms and stuff our faces till we pass out!" Matt said, earning a playful punch from Taylor.

"No! We're not doing that." Abby said.

Matt just rolled his eyes.

"We could go to the river," Scout suggested, "I have some inner tubes my room, Danny probably has some in his car too."

"Oh yeah, I do." Danny said with a light laugh.

"Oooh, tubing?" Ellie popped off her swing, "I'm down for that."

"So Rex, and David, y'all gonna come?" Etai asked the two, only because they were both most likely not willing to go.

"Yeah i'm gonna stay-." David started before being cut off.

"I'll go." Rex said, looking up from his phone finally.

"Seriously? That's a surprise." Matt snickered.

"Yeah, why the hell not." Rex shrugged.

"I'll invite Jill." Abby said before dialing in Jill's number.

'Hello?' Said a voice from the other side of the phone after a couple rings.

"Jilly! Wanna come to the river with us Thanksgiving weekend?"

Jill didn't respond for a minute, 'Yeah sure! That sounds better than sitting in my room.'

"Awesome! Do you need us to come get you?" Abby asked, "We can send Danny and Scout in Danny's car."

'Yeah if that's cool.'

"Alright, I'll text you later with more details!" Abby said before hanging up the phone, looking to Danny and Scout, "What time should we head out to the river?"

"I say we wake up at 7am." Scout said.

"Hell no!" Matt protested, "No way i'm waking up that early."

"You don't have to go." Taylor said calmly, rolling her eyes as Matt was being way too loud for no reason.

"Good idea, I knew you were good for something." Matt said, earning a kick to the dick from Abby.

"Shut up Matt! You're so annoying!" Abby said, earning laughs from the group as Matt grabbed his crotch and fell to the floor.

"Fuck you guys." Matt said as he painfully stood back up, using one hand to catch his balance before stumbling back in the house.

"Whatta pussy." Rex said, looking back down at his phone.

"Someone's pissy for sure." Scout snickered, "Wonder what's up.." He said before shrugging, "Eh who cares, time to plan!"

Thanksgiving came quicker than they thought. The gang was up and packing shit into both vehicles. Danny closed his truck and then hopped into the driver's seat, Scout already in the passenger's seat. Danny rolled his window down, "We'll be right back." Danny told the others, which they all just smiled and nodded.

Danny turned his car on, rolling his window back up before backing out of the driveway. Once on the road, they began to drive out to go retrieve Jill.

David helped the others with putting inner tubes into the trunk of the van. "So who's driving you guys to the river?" He asked.

"Scout probably," Taylor replied.

"But isn't he with Danny right now?" David questioned, confused.

"Yeah... but they're coming back?" Ellie said, raising an eyebrow at David.

"Oh! My bad, i apologize." David said, closing the trunk and walking back into the house.

"He's certainly odd." Ellie said as she looked to Abby and Etai.

Etai just shrugged, "He's cool once you get to know him, don't worry." Etai reassured Ellie.

Ellie just sighed and rolled her eyes, "Okayy, whatever you say." She said, walking into the house with Etai, Abby, and Rex.

Jill was spooked by the honking that came from outside her house. She looked out her window to see Danny's car parked out. She opened her window and called out to them, "I'll be there in a second!"

Scout just gave her a thumbs up, and Jill closed her window. She grabbed a small backpack and her slides and rushed out of her room, "See ya later guys." Jill said to Nancy and Elias as she headed out the door.

Jill closed the door behind her and walked down the pathway to the car. She knocked on the back door before opening it and getting in, "Whats up retards." She said as she closed her door.

"Ready for today?" Scout asked, turning around in his seat.

"Yep!" Jill said, quickly pulling herself over into the front seat and snatched something from Scout, "This is mine now."

"Aw you little-." Scout began before reaching back to try and take it back.

"Stop it you two. Jill give it back, i'll give you mine." Danny said. Jill just giggled before throwing it back on Scout's lap.

"JILLMY BALLS WATCH OUT OH MY gOD." Scout yelled dramatically, leaving the other two to laugh.

Danny turned around and handed Jill it now, "There, you happy now?" He asked and Jill just nodded.

Danny then started the car and drove off, back to the house and to start their adventure for today.
