Zeke Green has always been a distant man, spending the first few years of his adult life raising his younger brother Ty made him overprotective. After joining the Animals MC his brother Ty joined as well. Becky Lockhart has always been the girl next door, best friend to both brothers while growing up Ty was the one who was stupid enough to fall in love with her.
Through the years Zeke and Becky grew apart and their friendship became nothing more than a mutual dislike that kept them friendly only for Ty.When Becky is seriously injured and Ty is out of town Zeke is the only one who can help her and reluctantly does so but helping Becky will require him to examine his life and face the demons he's spent the past ten years running from.
