Beep! Beep! Beep!

Marinette groaned at the annoying sound ringing in her ears. Reluctantly, she got up and out of bed.

The night before, her parents had told her some news she did not want to hear.

Marinette stepped inside the bakery. "Mama? Papa? I'm home!" she called.

"Over here honey!" she heard her mother reply from the kitchen. She went inside the kitchen and her parents' faces turned serious.

"We have some very important news to tell you," her mother started. She took in a deep breath.

"Your brother is coming back tomorrow. He will be with you all day since he is in all of your classes," her father said for his wife.

"What!?" she screeched. Her brother, coming back after all these years!? She stormed up to her room and went straight to designing, and eventually, bed.

Marinette sighed as she finished brushing her teeth. She kept her hair down and brushed it. She then, walked over to her closet and pulled out an outfit.

It was a black hood, black ripped jeans, black combat boots, and a black beanie.  She quickly ran out of the bakery and to the school.

The bell rang and she walked into the classroom. She saw Alya and sat down. "Alright, Class! Today we have a new student," said Ms. Bustier. Then, her brother walked in. "Please introduce yourself."

"My name is Marin. My favorite color is red and my favorite sweet is a lollipop," said Marin. Then he walked down to his desk. Before he got to his desk, though, he passed Marinette.

"I know it's you, Mari," he whispered in her ear. She slammed her hand down on her desk and the whole class jumped. "Alright! Ms. Bustier, may Marin and I go outside for a minute?" she asked. "Yes, of course!" Ms. Bustier replied.

The siblings walked outside and stared at each other. Finally, Marinette broke the silence. "How could you just leave us!?" she yelled. "I didn't want to, I swear!" he replied. "Yeah, right. Like I believe that. You were the only one that knew! I couldn't tell mom or dad!" she snapped. "It's not my fault you wanted to keep it a secret!" he shouted. "You were my idol, my role model, I looked up to you, you were my world, and my world crashed when you left."

Marin just looked at her. She looked up to him? Now he just felt guilty. Especially since he was the only one who knew her secret.

Meanwhile in the classroom, everybody was hearing what was going on outside and was very quiet. Then, the whole class heard a loud smack! Most people gasped while others stayed silent. How could he have slapped a girl!? But he didn't, Marinette slapped him.

They both walked back in, and Marin put his hand on her shoulder. Bad move. Marinette flipped him over on his back, then she sat on top of him and put her face close to his. Then her right iris turned white. (Iris is the part in your eye where your eye color is.) Then, the right side of her face turned into a skull.

Everybody who saw Marinette's face gasped. Chloe, being the drama queen she is, started crying. "I'm gonna call my daddy!" she screeched. Marinette turned towards her and she shut up.

"W-What happened to your face?" Adrian asked. If she's been akumitized, then he needed to transform. Marinette sighed and stood up. "Well, it's a long story. Are you sure you want to hear it?" she replied. "Well..."
