"Boss, you have an incoming call from Peter Parker." Fridays voice broke Tony out of his work. A small smile coming onto his face at the thought of the kid.

"Answer it Fri,"

"Mr. Stark?" The moment Tony heard Peter's voice, he knew something was wrong.

"Yeah it's me kiddo, what's up? Is everything ok?" Tony couldn't help the worry that worked it's way into his voice.

"U-um could I stay at the-the tower tonight?" Peter's voice was halted by a hiccup, and Tony finally figured out why something sounded off. The kid had been crying.

"Kid what happened?"

Tony could hear Peter snuffling before he spoke, "I just, please Mr. Stark?"

The kid sounded so small, so upset. "Happy'll come pick you up yeah? Are you at your apartment?"

A muffled sob was heard over the phone, "N-no I'm at the uh park."

"20 minutes tops,"

When Happy found the kid, Peter was curled up on a bench. His knees were tucked into his chest, and his shoulders shook as he silently cried into them.

Peter's head snapped up when he heard the horn honk. Eyes focusing on Happy's car he slowly stood, reaching down to grab his bag before making his way into the car.

"Hey kid," Happy wouldn't admit it but he was worried about Peter.

"Hey," Peter said, his voice quiet and rough.

"How's it going?" Happy eyed Peter through the mirror, the kids shoulders seemed to curl in on themselves as he stared out the window. This was the quietest Happy had ever heard him, and it was worrying to say the least.

By the time they got to the tower Peter had stopped crying, though his eyes were still rimmed in red and bloodshot.

"Alright kid, you can go find Tony."

Peter opened his door mumbling a "thanks," as he got out of the car. Walking into the tower Peter kept his head down, looking smaller than he usually did.

When Peter walked into the living room Tony's stomach dropped. Peter looked so lost, and so sad. This energetic kid that never seemed to run out of smiles, this kid who laughed and made jokes constantly was in Tony's living room looking like he was seconds away from crying again.

"Pete what happened?" Tony's voice was soft, eyes completely focused on Peter.

Peter's eyes welled up, shoulders beginning to shake again, "She kicked me out Mr. Stark."

"What?" Tony frowned, eyebrows furrowing. He couldn't have heard Peter right. Why would May kick him out?

"May kicked me out Mr. Stark, sh-she j-just ki-kick-" Peter cut himself off with a sob, hands flying up to cover his mouth.

"Shit," Tony brought himself to his feet, walking towards a shaking Peter, "Hey, hey, hey it's ok Pete."

Tony wrapped his arms around Peter, pulling Peter to his chest. One arm was wrapped around Peter's shoulders, the other on the back of his head, lightly running his fingers through the hair there.

"It's ok Peter, it's ok, I'm here. I got you." Tony said, pushing his face into Peter's hair as he squeezed tighter, hating the horrible cries leaving the kids mouth.

Tony and Peter stood in the living room hugging until Peter's sobbing turned to quiet sniffles.

"Do you wanna go sit down bud?"Tony asked quietly, not wanting to push the kid.

Peter just nodded his head, part of him not wanting to let go of Tony even though he was exhausted.

"Alright." Tony kept one arm wrapped around Peter's shoulders as they walked to the couch.

When they reached the couch Tony pulls Peter down with him so that he's leaned against his side.

"So you wanna tell me what happened?" Tony could feel Peter tense at the question, body becoming stiff against him, "I just want to help you, I need to know what's going on to be able to help."

Tony was able to guess what had caused May to kick Peter out. Honestly there was only a few options that made sense, Peter was such a good kid.

"You know I'm always gonna be here for you right? No matter what ok kid? I'm not going anywhere," Tony squeezed Peter's shoulders tightly as if to reaffirm his words.

Peter sat himself up, avoiding eye contact with Tony, "May um May kicked me out because uh because I'm, I'm gay Mr. Stark."

"Thank God that's what it is, I thought it was gonna be something bad. This I can handle," Tony chuckled, trying to ease the tension rolling off the kid. In reality he figured it was gonna be something like this, and no matter how much it pissed him off that May kicked Peter out for this, he was at least glad Peter came to him.

"Wait really? You're not like uh mad?" Peter's eyes were filled with emotions, relief being one of the most prominent.

"Of course not kid, hell I've had my fair share of guy partners if you know what I mean," Tony said, sending a cheeky wink towards a blushing Peter.

"Mr. Stark!"

"Look Peter, I'm sorry about what happened with May. You can stay here as long as you want. The best we can do is hope she comes around," Tony said once again pulling Peter into a tight hug, "So do you got a boyfriend?"

Tony smirked at Peter as the kids face turned a bright red, "So what's his name huh?"

"His name's Wade," Peter managed to squeak out, face turning even brighter.

"You better tell him that if he ever hurts my Spider-Baby, Ironman will personally find him." Tony sent Peter another wink, smirking over at him.

"Mr. Stark!"
