Chillys Story

How it started

Meanwhile in a dark cave far far away from Mobius...

Down the dark tunnel led to a tall hedgehog, his name was Seth Manson. He was looking for something but what...? That's when he approached a carved stone, it was in a language that he couldn't understand. On top of it, there was wooden chest that was covered in overgrown moss and roaches. He wiped off the nasty bugs and tore all of the moss off, he carefully opened the small chest. Once the chest was opened a bright green light shined and lit up the whole cave, eventually the light dimmed to reveal a small stone. Seth's eyes widened in happiness "I finally found it!" he exclaimed before picking it up "The Iris!" The small stone was light green and there was a dragon iris centered in the middle. Well, you see why it was called the 'The Iris' anyways the male took out a small leather/felt bag and dropped the stone inside, he grinned happily "I can finally protect the village with this!" The male soon left the cave and made his way out of the cave.

Soon...

Seth had made it home safely after a long journey, he smiled brightly as he approach his home, he unlocked the door and walked in. He made his way to the nursery room where his wife Angel sat in a rocking chair with their baby, she had light blue eyes just like her father and pearl white hair like Angel, her name was chilly...Chilly Mason. Seth walked over to his wife and his daughter and smiled; he kissed her forehead. The white hedgehog looked up and smiled happily "honey! You're back!" she cheered as the baby looked up with the pacifier in her mouth. Chilly raised her stubby arms up and reached out for her father "Mmh!" she whined adorably. Seth carefully picked up his daughter and smiled at her "hey sweetie, daddy missed you so" he said kindly. Angel smiled softly at this adorable interaction, he then started rocking her gently back and forth. Eventually the baby fell asleep, Seth took advantage of this and carefully placed her in the crib. He smiled at his child before grabbing his wife's hand and making her follow him out, angel quickly turned the light of and followed her husband. Once they where away from chilly and in their bedroom, Seth let her go, he grinned '' baby you won't believe it" he said, "Believe what?" she asked now confused "I found it, I found the iris!" he explained. Angel was shocked "wait really?" he took it out of the small bag and held it, he gave it to her to hold but once she touched it she felt like it was draining something from her. She sensed very bad energy from it she quickly gave it back to him "I-I-I think you should put it back" she recommended "What!? No! Why!?" he asked; "it don't feel right, I sense some bad chaotic energy from that thing..." she muttered. Seth shook his head "no no baby come on it's a good thing! We can protect everyone, especially her" he said nodding his head towards chilly's room. Angel shook her head "but why would we need that when we have Soni-" Seth cut her off 'No! We can't always rely on that blue kid he's only a kid! He's 13 for crying out loud, what if he fails! And Robotnik takes over! What then!?" he shouted leaving his wife quiet, she sighed "you're right..." she said quietly. She looked down frowning about, Seth saw this and calmed down before lifting her chin "angel cakes.... look I'm sorry for yelling at you but I just want the best for us..." he said. Angel nodded "I love you okay" he said softly with a smile "I love you too..." Angel smiled back. Seth then leaned in for a kiss and pressed his lips against hers, she kissed back. Eventually Seth pulled away "okay let's head to bed it is late" he chuckled as he looked at the time. They both laid down, Seth pulls angel close and yawned "goodnight honey..." Angel nodded in response before they both fell asleep.

Timeskip

Over the years, Seth learned more and more about the iris; he trained with it every day so he could become stronger. As he said he would he used for good and protected his village and his family with his newly found powers, but there were some flaws. He had become more aggressive, anxious, violent and VERY controlling; Seth believed that he should be the new leader, he protected everyone from Eggman's badniks. So felt like the village owned him, he would take advantage of the poor and made them work in order to pay him back while the wealthy paid him money every time them and their homes were protected. Seth struggled to control his anger; he didn't completely understand why but he always pushed it away. One day a boy was caught stealing bread from a shop, the boy was poor he and his family used to be wealthy like all the other families but thanks to Seth they became broke. The guards held the boy up and brought him their new leader, Seth glared down at the boy "so this is the little shit who was stealing from me huh" he asked before raising his now glowing hand, he then violently back handed the poor boy as his family watched, blood spurted out his mouth and through his now broken nose. The child collapsed as the family tried to pull away from the guards to save his son, Seth then walked over to the boy and picked him up by his neck. He started to squeeze his neck as the boy began to choke and scratch at Seth's glowing hand's, the towns people screamed and begged him to stop. But Seth couldn't hear them, he started to grin widely as he watched the boy struggle to breathe; His eyes turned green as his grip got tighter but just as he was going to kill this boy a familiar voice was heard "SETH STOP!!!" Angel shouted with chilly in her arms. Seth gasped and let go of the boy as he saw his wife; the green in his eyes had disappeared and went back to normal, the boy coughed and gasped for air as his family ran to his aid. Seth looked at the crying family as the child was catching his breath back, he was shocked 'did I do that...?' he thought "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?' Angel shouted angrily before running over to the boy to help him "I didn't...I didn't mean to-"he tried to explain " JUST GO!!" Angel shouted. Seth went silent before backing away and finally leaving; what had he done?

Hours later

Seth was sitting on the couch with a singular beer in his hand, he honestly hated alcohol but after a few chugs he soon started to enjoy it; minutes later the front was slammed open, angel closed the door behind her and put chilly down "chilly dear, mommy and daddy need to have an adult conversation, please wait

for me in your room okay?" she asked softly with a smiled "okay mommy!" before happily making her way to her room and closing the door. Angel soon sat up and looked at her husband with a glare "SETH WHAT THE FUCK HAPPPENED OUT THERE!?" she shouted, "YOU ALMOST KILLED THAT BOY!" she said as she teared up "He's only 10 years old! His family was starving "she yelled her voice cracking this time. Seth sighed "I DON'T KNOW OKAY!?" he admitted "I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED" he finished 'hE dEsErVeD iT' "he deserved it..." he muttered "Excuse me!?" Angel said, "I SAID HE DESERVED IT!!" he screamed at her; she looked at him in shock before shaking her head 'n-no... no. I'm leaving! Right Now!" Angel walked to chilly's room and grabbed a couple sets of clothes "what wrong mommy...?" Chilly asked as she held a sonic doll "Nothing just you and mommy need to go right now, okay?" she said "okay mommy" she then took the packed bookbag and put it on. Angel grabbed chilly's hand and walked out with her towards the door until Seth stood in front of the door "you're not leaving." He said in a voice, his eyes were green again "Seth move, now." She growled getting ready to fight; her hand already starting grow shards of ice. He soon started to walk towards her with that same grin from earlier, she gasped and swung at him. Before she could lay a finger on him, he grabbed her by the neck and slammed her harshly into the wall; causing a dent to be made. Chilly saw this and started to hit her father's leg "Stop it! You're hurting mommy!" she cried, Seth then raised his hand. It was glowing green once again but this time it was glowing around chilly too; "agh! SETH DON'T!!!" she begged but it was too late. Chilly was thrown into a wall down the hallway, she collapsed onto the floor and went unconscious as the sonic doll fell next to her; Angel's heart dropped "NO!!" she screamed and punched Seth in the face with her ice hand cutting his face with the sharp shards of ice. Seth let her go as he screamed in agony; angel ran towards chilly but before she could get there her hair was grabbed; she was pulled back. Seth angrily started to beat her as she struggled to defend herself; it seemed he had grown stronger. Angel soon was on the ground to she had put up a good fight, but she had grown weak, she reached for her child, but her hand collapsed as she grew unconscious. Seth looked at his once happy family with a grin on his face but this wasn't him, it was the iris. Tears ran down the males face as he watched his family. The male wiped his tears "Oh StOp CrYiNg...ThEy DeSeRvEd It..." The voice said through Seth's mouth "DoN't YoU wOrRy.....IlL tAkE cArE oF tHeM..."
