The Children Of

The Night Before

It was noisy in my complex. All of my siblings  were somehow arguing over the most childish thing. - Who had the highest IQ and who could strategize a battle plan the fastest and most effective way. " You idiots realize mom is probably listening to everything we say as we speak right," says Suho.

"Yeah but mom isn't here," mutters one of my sisters. She's the cockier one of us few Athena children.

I knew I had to get involved before something happened, "Suho is right, mom can hear and if you'd stop and think for a second you'd realize that," Everyone's heads turn and stare at me and the room goes quiet. "For the smartest children on the premises you all act fairly dumb. Cut it out and get ready for bed we have training tomorrow."

They all hurry to their rooms and I let out a troubling sigh.

"Thanks", Suho says to me.

"No problem, you should get to bed as well," I say walking to the front door.

"Wait where are you going-"

"To see Yoongi," and with that I left.

I step out into the cold air of the night.  It's around 12 am and curfew was at least 2 hours ago. But I had to see Yoongi. The poor baby was probably forcing his brothers and sisters to sleep with his power. Thinking of it made me laugh out loud as I walked a few feet to Hypnos' complex.

"It's late out," a recognizable voice says.

"Yes it is Kook. Why aren't you in bed?"

"Uh- I was gonna see Jimin."

"30 minutes."

"What?"

"You've got 30 minutes with Jimin and then to bed for training tomorrow."

"Thank you hyung!" He scurries off and into the woods behind the complex Eros' children share.

As I watched him meet with his lover mine stepped out of the door eyes barely open. "Putting the others to sleep again I see."

"I know I shouldn't but they wouldn't listen to me. It's not my fault it drains my powers and makes me even more tired than I usually am."

"I know baby, I know. I just came to give you a goodnight kiss."

"Why not spend the night with me?" He looks at the ground anxiously.

"Because you need to be well rested for tomorrow. I promise we will have some time alone in a few days okay?"

He stands on his toes giving me a quick kiss on the lips, "Thanks Joon."

" No problem baby," I let go of his hand and take a few steps back tripping slightly on a pebble.

He snickers and I glare at him, " If anyone asks, you didn't see that."

"You're such a klutz," he cackled as he walks back inside and I sprint back to my place chuckling quietly.
