Valarie Malia Pascual (Born April 14th, 2003) is an American-Filipino actress and singer, acting in 2014 with her debut role, Luna Calay, in the Filipino show, Forevermore, before moving back to the United States to portray her best-known role, Carson Bautista, in Netflix Original, Stranger Things.
CAREER
Before moving to America, she featured in Filipino shows and movies with her dad which sparked her love for acting. Because of her love for the arts, she moved back to the Philippines where she came out with major roles in Filipino movies and shows. At the age of thirteen, wanting to go international she moved back to the United States to play bigger roles, not long after she signed up to a record company where she started to compose music.
PERSONAL LIFE.
Valarie is the daughter of Piolo Pascual, a Filipino singer and actor, and Donnabelle Lazaro. She grew up with her older brother Inigo Pascual in the Philippines before moving at the age of six (6) to San Francisco, California. She studied at George Peabody Elementary in San Francisco, CA before starting off her career as an Actress. As she grew older, Pascual was vocally trained by Wanda Cosmo, sparking a big interest in the music.
