"I don't see why we're wasting time when we could be doing more important things for the vampires in Boston." Beca said as she sat there and watched while Zara drank from a human's wrist hungrily. Zara broke off of the delirious human with a gasp, her mouth covered in blood. "And I told you I needed a well deserved break. What better way to wind down than with a nice refreshing snack?" Zara asked Beca as she batted her eyelashes innocently at her. Beca swallowed harshly as she saw blood run down Zara's neck slowly. Zara noticed as she eyed Beca with a smirk. "Are you sure you don't want some? I'm sure she doesn't mind." Zara said as she pulled on the human's wrist making the human smile at Beca drunkly. Beca felt her eyes go black immediately full of hunger. "I'm fine, thank you." Zara shrugged as she sent the human on her way. "You know your mouth says no, but your eyes say yes Mitchell." Beca clenched her jaw as she willed her eyes to go back to normal, which eventually they did. "Can we go now? I'm sure you've had your fill." Zara wiped her mouth with a napkin she got off the table in front of them. "I've always enjoyed places like these. Humans willing to be sucked dry just for a little taste of our blood. It's amazing what addiction can do to a person, ain't that right Beca?" At this point Beca has had enough of Zara's endless teasing. Beca stood up as she left Zara there smirking on the couch as she headed for the exit in a huff. Beca walked past endless rooms of vampires feeding off various humans. Beca should not be in a place like this, not when she's been starving herself for days. She's been able to control herself for centuries on end, but now with Zara...it's getting a bit more difficult than she initially thought it would be. Beca was almost out of the horrid place when a random human woman came up to her. "Leaving already?" She asked as she stepped in front of the exit door. "I've had my fill." The woman smirked as she sauntered up to Beca. "Have you now? Doesn't seem like it to me, you look a little bit hungry. Why don't you take a little from me, and I'll take a little from you? Sound like a fair trade sexy?" The human lifted up here wrist which was already bitten into, but it still had drops of blood heaping out. Beca exhaled a shaky breath as her eyes immediately shifted. "Come on, don't be shy, it's only a little taste." Beca could feel her veins appear under her eyes and she immediately growled as she shoved the human away from her roughly, exiting as quickly as she could. As soon as Beca got outside she breathed in the fresh air in gasps. If she was to be in that chamber of blood any longer she would no doubt rip out every last one of those human's throats. Beca tried to control herself not to go back in there and do just that. Her control has been willing down every moment she has spent with Zara. It's only been a week of nonstop meetings and nonstop blood parties. Beca doesn't know how much more of this she could take until she finally snapped and lost all control. "Seems like you don't have much control on your royal pet after all." Beca tensed as she turned around to see none other than a smirking Luke. "What are you doing here?" Beca asked him as she eyed him up and down. Luke chuckled as he stepped closer to the establishment. "The more important question here is what are you doing here? I thought you were off of the vein for good. Or is miss I'm not a vampire caving in already?" Luke asked her with a Cheshire smile. "What are you planning Luke?" Luke's smile dropped as he didn't expect Beca to be so straight forward with him. "Well Beca I've decided that it's about time there should be a new management in Boston. For the rest of my plan, you'll just have to wait and find out like the rest of them." Beca huffed as she sped towards Luke and caught him by his throat. Luke choked out a laugh as Beca tried to hold him up against the wall but got thrown off by him easily, making Beca fall to the ground with a groan. "You're too weak to be starting a fight with me Becky. You're lucky I'm in a good mood because otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to rip your throat out." Beca got up on her feet in pain. "Why don't you just do it now? Save me the trouble of finding out what you're up to and eventually rip your heart out of your chest for good." Beca said with a heavy growl as her eyes went black and she bared her elongated teeth at him with a snarl. Luke rolled his eyes at her playfully. "And what would be the fun in that? To be honest I've always had a soft spot for you. Even with my other children I've turned I've never met someone quite like you. Someone so devious when she wants to be, someone who wouldn't hesitate to rip out a human's throat just for the fun of it. What happened to you Becky?" Luke asked her with genuine hurt and confusion. Beca didn't answer him as she let hurt flash in her eyes as she though of Emily, making Luke scoff with a smile. "Are you seriously still hung up on that human Emily? Becky, she wasn't right for you, she would have spoiled all of our fun and you know it. You still can't be mad at me for that, she left you because she realized what you truly are...a monster." Beca let out a scream of rage as she charged him again, but Luke was prepared for it this time and smacked Beca across her face, sending her flying towards a brick wall on the other side of him. "She left you! I was there for you, why can't you see that?!" Beca groaned as she spat out blood forming in her mouth as she sat up against the brick wall in pain. Luke leaned down next to Beca with a sad smile on his face. "I will always be there for you Beca...don't you forget that. When you're done playing house with the humans, come find me." Beca barely blinked and saw Luke sped off from her in a spilt second. Beca groaned as she held her side and slowly slid up the wall. "Oh my god Beca! What happened?!" Zara screamed out as she flashed next to Beca in an instant. "Nothing! Im fine..." Beca snarled at her harshly as she stood up straighter. Beca could feel herself slowly healing, but at this rate she wouldn't feel better until tomorrow evening. "Here, drink." Zara suddenly bit into her wrist and put it to Beca's mouth. "No! I told you I'm fine!" Beca shoved Zara's arm away in mild disgust. Beca didn't want to blood share with her, Zara would take it as more than what it was if she did. "Just leave me be..." Beca hobbled away to find her car as she left behind a worried Zara.

"Beca...Beca...dude wake up!" Beca groaned as she felt a pillow being thrown at her roughly. "What jesse?" Beca licked her lips and suddenly felt parched as she turned her head to look behind her at Jesse. "Woah what happened to you?" Jesse asked her worried as he bent down and examined her face against her will. Beca swatted at his large hands in annoyance, sitting up in her bed in mild discomfort. "I'm fine, just a little fight, nothing I couldn't handle." Jesse scoffed as she crossed his arms over his chest. "Yeah sure, don't think I don't notice you're not feeding. You're getting weaker and I don't understand why you starve yourself, because-" Beca interrupted him with a growl. "And I told you it's none of your business Jesse." Jesse rolled his eyes at her stubbornness and went towards her bedroom door. "I just came up to tell you that your very angry girlfriend is at the door." Beca's eyes widened as she immediately got up to fix her hair and clothes. Jesse walked down the stairs as he saw a scowling Chloe waiting near the front door. Jesse smiled at her as he reached the end of the steps. "Give her hell Beale, god knows she deserves it." Chloe couldn't help but chuckle at that but once she saw Beca descend the stairs her scowl came back. "We need to talk-oh my gosh what happened to you?!" Beca rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "Oh that-Um I'll explain everything, but do you wanna come up to my room first? so we're not being spied on." Beca said as she eyed Jesse peaking from the dining room table all the way from the kitchen. Of course he heard Beca and blushed dipping out of her eye sight. Chloe nodded as they headed up to Beca's room together. Beca closed her door while Chloe stood there awkwardly. Beca decided to make the first move and sat on her bed first. "So...what's up?" Beca asked her cheekily as she couldn't stare into Chloe's blank eyes. "Forget about what I wanted for a second, we will go back to that after you tell me what the hell happened to you." Chloe said worriedly as she sat next to Beca and held her face towards her own, to examine Beca's wounds. Beca smiled at Chloe's soft touch as her thumb ran over one of the welts on her face. "It was nothing, really-" Chloe scowled at her as Beca stopped talking all together. "Mitchell you tell me what happened or so help me I will not stay here and play nurse all day for you." Beca chuckled as Chloe smiled softy back at her. "It was my sire...we ran into each other last night and things didn't go too well as you can see." Chloe scrunched her eyebrows together in confusion. "Your sire?" Beca nodded as she licked her chapped lips. "He was the one that turned me. Don't worry though I'm healing right now, just very slowly at the moment." Chloe looked at Beca confusedly. "I thought vampires healed quickly." Beca winched at that notion and looked down guilty. "Yeah well only vampires that feed regularly do." Chloe huffed as she held Beca's hand that was currently in her lap. "Beca I thought we discussed this already, I could-" Beca stood up quickly shaking her head. "No Chloe I couldn't, it's getting harder and harder to control myself ever since-" Beca stopped speaking immediately, she almost told Chloe about Zara. If Zara even knew about her than Chloe would be her daily snack. "Ever since what Beca?" Beca shook her head and looked away from Chloe's eyes in shame. "I can't say..." Chloe scoffed in hurt as she tried to head for Beca's bedroom door to leave. Beca used her speed to quickly get in front of Chloe. "Wait! Please don't leave I'm sorry if I told you then you would be in serious danger." Chloe rolled her eyes as she held Beca's face in her hands, looking into her somber blue eyes. "When will you realize I don't care what happens to me as long as I know you're gonna be ok? I'm tired of all these secrets Beca, I just want us to go back to how we used to be." Beca didn't know what else to say, what more could she say? She's stuck watching over a royal vampire princess so she can finally get out of this life and live as a vampire pretending to be a human for the rest of eternity? Well it's the only thing she could say so she wouldn't lose Chloe all together. "All I can tell you is that I'm helping someone, and this someone can be very dangerous at times." Chloe huffed as she knew who Beca was talking about. "It's that blonde woman isn't it?" Beca's eyes widened as she looked at Chloe confusedly. "How did you-" Chloe crossed her arms over her chest jealously. "I followed you that morning, when you told me not to. I just had to see if you were safe or not." Beca groaned as she pulled Chloe down to sit next to her on her bed. "Chloe you can't be doing that anymore! These other vampires wouldn't hesitate to drain you for all that you're worth. I'm doing this so I can finally be free of this life." Chloe huffed once more in frustration. "Doing what?! Beca if you expect me to be complaint while my girlfriend risks her life for the thousandth time god only knows! Then tell me what you're doing right now or so help me!-" Beca leaned forward and kissed Chloe deeply making Chloe stop talking all together. They kissed for a few more seconds until Beca pulled back to look into Chloe's dazed bright blue eyes. "You called me your girlfriend." Beca said with a smirk as she kissed Chloe's lips one last time. "Huh, guess I did, is that ok?" Beca nodded and smiled at Chloe softly. "More than okay."
