I smile as Calypso wraps her arms around me when we climb onto Festus. I knew he couldn't fly to far; we'd have to stop somewhere so I could fix him. After that I'd take her anywhere she wants to go. Of course, sometime I would go back to camp. I wanted to see my friends. Do they even know I'm alive? All I can do is hope so, and if they don't, they will have a big surprise. A grin comes to my face as I think about that.
I turn and look at Calypso. "You ready, sunshine?" I ask, grinning. She nods and smiles. "Good." I say, then kiss her, before looking back ahead of us. Festus starts flying, and before I know it, we're in the air.
Calypso looks down below us as we fly. "It's beautiful." She says, looking around, smiling.
I nod and grin. "Trust me sunshine, you haven't seen nothing yet." I say, grinning.
She nods and smiles, her amber hair flowing back in the wind. "Man, she looks beautiful." I think to myself.
As we fly, I start thinking of my friends again. Jason, Piper, Hazel, Percy, Annabeth, and even Frank. I hope they're all okay. They better be okay.
"Are you okay?" Calypso asks, noticing my quietness.
I nod. "Yeah, just thinking," I say.
She nods. "Okay." She says. I nod again.
After a little while more of flying, I finally see land. It's a good thing too; to much lover and Festus couldn't handle it. I landed him, and climbed off. I reached up and let Calypso take my hand, as she climbed off too. I start to get some tools out of my magic tool belt, which had somehow survived the explosion I was recently in. I start working on Festus.
Calypso stands and watches me. "Anything I can do to help?" She asked, tilting her head a little.
I smile and look up, more soot then there already was covering my face. "Just stay pretty." I joke, grinning, before going back to work.
She nods, then reaches into one of her bags and pulls out something. I look back up at her to see.
"What's that?" I ask, raising my eyebrows.
"Fresh clothes." She says, "Yours are a mess."
I nod. "Thanks. I'll put them on once I finish," I say. She nods, then I go back to working on Festus.
Finally, I finish. "There boy," I stay, standing. I rub my hand across his metallic back. "Better now?"
He clicks in response, using Morse to say, 'Yeah, thanks.'
I smile. "No problem." I say, then turn to Calypso. "I'll take those clothes now sunshine." I say smiling. She nods, then hands them to me. "I'll be right back." I say, then walk away to go change.
I take off my tattered clothes, then put on what she gave me. As I put them on, I realize they are the exact same clothes she had gave me before. I raise an eyebrow as I finish changing. I slip my tool belt on, then walk out, and back over to Calypso.
"How'd you get these?" I ask.
She smiles. "I figured you'd somehow find a way to ruin the others."
I smile and nod. "Well, then you were right." I say. She smiles. "You ready to get going?" I question.
She nods. "Of course." She says and smiles.
"Okay. Where do you want to go?"
She shrugs. "I actually don't know. Do you have any place in mind?" She asks.
I nod. "There is one place.."
