Chapter 1

"Welcome the new members of NCT Dream!"

Three young men were ushered into the room by the manager and placed infront of the crowd of members forming. The room held an uncomfortable silence, no one daring to speak until one of the three rookies stepped forward to introduce themselves. A young man stood out, around 5 7 in height, with a smile plastered on his face.

" Hello! My name is Billie and I'm excited to be working with you!"

Some of the members of NCT went forward to greet and see the new dreamies clearer, while others stayed back, reserved. Not all the boys were not open to the idea of new members, especially when the 00 line would be graduating soon. It felt as if they were trying to replace them as quick as possible, which made some people mad, unfortunately giving bad impressions to the new 'unwanted' members.

The other two remaining introduced themselves.

" H-hello! I'm Yunho! I-I hope you will treat me well!"

The boy looked very feminine, with a light baby pink beret on a bed of soft cream, almost platinum hair. He was smaller than the other two, and looked quite petite in an oversized sweater. He had bright oval eyes and soft features to match his style. He gave off a fresh and cutesy impression.

"I'm Jae"

The third and last trainee looked almost bored with introductions, opting for the least amount of talking possible and held a dark and bold aura. He looked like he got his clothes straight from a magazine wore a dark black vintage leather jacket with his ears adorned with as many piercings as he could fit. If one word was used to describe his appearance, it would be stylish.  He looked dangerous with piercing eyes that could barely be seen from under his black fringe and  deep red beanie. A clear contrast to the smaller boy, Yunho, who was clinging to Jae's arm like his life depends on it. He looked like he was about to rip his arm from its human cage but didn't for fear of the youngers feelings.

With the introductions done the members bombarded the three asking them every question they possibly could.

"Who is your favorite member?" Jaemin asked with a smug smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

Yunho's head perked up to the question. " My favorite is Jaehyun sunbae! He is so handsome!"

From the other side of the room you could see Jaehyun pump his fist in the air in triumph.

Cute! Is all the members could think of towards Yunho's reaction. Everyone started to fall in love with their new dongsaeng and his persona while the other two looked and felt awkward on the side.

"Who's your favorite Jae?" Yunho asked to his fellow trainee, handing off the stares that were once on him to the other

"I don't really have a favorite." Jae looked uncomfortable in the large group of people with all their attention on him.

" Jae's not good with crowds." The first, Billie, said earning a smack on the arm from Jae.

" My favorite is Mark sunbae, I don't know how you survived three units!"

Mark blushed but continued the conversation.
" You look foreign? Are you from the states?"

But before Billie could answer Yunho swooped in and answered" Yeah Billie is from the Windy City along with Jonny!"

"You guys seem to know each other pretty well. Have you meet before now?" Taeyoung perked up.

"Yeah, I was at JYP originally and was going to debut with Stray Kids, but when that didn't happen I changed companies and that's when I met Yunho, and later Jae."
