Ch 45. Your whisper

He felt like he was already gone, the missing sound of his heart beating against his chest was hard to recognize anymore. He kept his eyes open, eyelids heavier than they should be as the tears wouldn't stop running down his cheeks, the sheets turning wet under his frail weight

He couldn't stop the feeling in his body, a fear building up on the insides from how weak he felt under the covers of the hospital bed. His hours lying lifeless beside him, the time was scaring him more than ever

The hand of Jimin took a hold of his cold one. He held it tightly in his as he had been staying beside the other since he had gotten like this, sleepless night as he kept his watch on him

"I-I'm so scared Jimin, I'm so scared"

The boy sobbed, his broken voice leaving his dry lips as the tears kept running down his eyes. It felt like they were the only thing working in his body

The words leaving him was hurting him all over, the pain making him more feared as he trembled against the bed he would never learn to became familiar with

"It's okay, everything alright Tae"

Jimins tears were already running down his face, eyes red from the endless nights he had cried

He could feel how Taehyung tried to hold into his warm hand tightly, but the muscles in his body wouldn't help him out making him hold on weakly. He really tried

"I don't want to leave, I don't want to go anymore. Please Jimin I don't want to go"

Taehyung sobbed, his whole body shaking as he pleaded for Jimin to help him with something he knew no one could be able to help him with

He felt so hopeless, nothing to be able to stop himself with as he continues to have that feeling in his body. He didn't want to shut his eyes, holding them open as the heaviness was drowning him

Jimins heart broke down as he left the chair he had been sitting on, rushing over to sit himself on the bed. Feeling helpless as the only thing he was able to do was keep saying the reasurring words that was leaving Taes ears everytime

"you'll be alright, no one can hurt you now"

Jimin said as had pulled the other towards his arms, letting him sink into his body as he kept reasurring the other with his own raspy voice from the tears leaving his eyes

"I love you okay?"

Jimin told, his eyes squeezed right as he held the other closer to him when he felt how his sobs had began quieting down, his breathing hitched as he had his head against Jimins comfortable chest, listening to his friends words

He nodded weakly against him, letting the blond feel his answer against his body as he inhaled a shaky breath

"I'm so sorry"

Jimin kept saying, his grip around the boy only becoming tighter as he felt how the blue haired body was becoming weak in his arms

The hand Taehyung was holding into was slowly slipping off Jimins fingers, but the fragile nod against his chest made Jimin sob against his body

Taehyungs arms were lifeless beside him, his dark eyes that held the stars in them were slowly closing as a frail smile was on his lips as he continued to listen to the heartbeat of Jimin against his ears

A memory playing in his head like it was the present

"Kook..."

He whispered quietly
