"Is this it?" Leo glanced down at his map, then back up at the rather wide and tall mountain before us. It was covered in snow in certain spots, but seemed to have a little convenient path of rocks well travelled. Many people come up here for the temple, or for Khione. At least... That's what I figured. A part of me thought that this was a little too convenient. As if they were making a trail of breadcrumbs. Leo turned back to Willow and I, awaiting an answer. Willow piped up sarcastically.

"Considering it's a giant mountain with a building at the top, yes." Willow rubbed her hands together to generate some warmth, then stuck them back in her deep pockets. Her dreads were starting to look like icicles, and their navy blue hue wasn't helping. She looked like a statue most of the time, trying to keep still in the cold. It was a colder morning than usual, yesterday morning, when we came here wasn't too unbearable. I assumed it was because of where we were (in Greenland) and who we were dealing with (an ice goddess).

"We don't have time for bickering." I gently said to Willow, placing my hand on her shoulder. She jerked back. I forgot how cold I felt to other people. I mumbled a soft apology, and decided to change the subject. I pulled our my bag from around my shoulders and rummaged through it.
"I got you guys stuff." I called over the wind. It was deafening when it was blowing. The rest of the time, we were surrounded in silence. "F...from the pirates a few days ago. I would have given them to you earlier but we got caught up in all this." I mumbled sheepishly, my eyes glanced toward the two; who stopped to turn around and face me. Where were those stupid things? Aha!

"Oh deadass? Cool! Lemme see." Leo raised an eyebrow. I pulled out the two items.

"I figured you two would want an upgrade. I-I'm okay with my weapons, but I-- y'know..." I smiled sheepishly once more and pulled out a lava rock and bronze scimitar, that I got from from Pirate number Six. The hilt was made of lava rock and the blade made out of bronze. It had little intricate black lines throughout the hilt and blade, almost like cracks, but not deep enough to cause damage. When I was holding it, the lines glowed a neon violet. I didn't know what it was for, but I'd soon find out it was just for show. I tossed it to Leo, who proceeded to geek out over the craftsmanship of the blade... Or something like that I also pulled out the golden revolver that the captain had tried to shoot me with. I handed it to Willow, who basically screamed in delight.

"Woah.." He was in complete awe of the scimitar. As soon as Leo touched it; the lines that were once black and looked like cracks trailed into a molten reddish orange, like video game lava. Apparently it liked people with abilities, hence why it glowed purple with me.

"These are really cool! It's an upgrade from my crossbow for sure." Will chirped, pretending to shoot things.
We all flinched.

"Don't- don't use that unless it's an emergency...?" Leo held out his hands in defense. We were both secretly hella scared about how impulsive and.... Bomb-like Willow can be. And we were not going to get shot in the foot, Archer style. No ma'am. Not today.

"Ahah.. Yea..! Sorry.. Thanks for the stuff, Luna!" Willow seemed genuinely happy. It made me smile softly.

"No seriously, thank you-- where did you find this?" Leo stared right at me, still geeking out over the sword.
"Do you realize how rare these aura blades are?! There are only like... Five or so in circulation."
Apparently the pirate had one of them. And they worked for Khione, who was a goddess. So it was very well possible that she had the blade in her personal armory. Oh well. It was Leo's now.
(Do not be fooled by the cool name and rarity-- this shit isn't a keyblade. It just looks pretty.)

I just shrugged and continued up the mountain, walking ahead of Willow and Leo.

"Got it off a dead pirate. Dunno where the rest would be." I mumbled, but also got an idea. I turned around, and walked back over to Leo.
"How about we find them and call it a date?"
I whispered. I could always try the whole top thing out. It wasn't for me, but I could still initiate some things. Leo stood there; dumbfounded and red in the face-- and it wasn't from the cold.
