"I'm just saying, Tesla invented the lightbulb, not Edison." Garrett says before stopping at his locker.
"That's not what history says, otherwise they would teach it in schools." Jenny argues, leaning against the wall of lockers.
"That's what the government wants you to think," Garrett smiles before putting his bag in his locker and joining Jenny to do the same.
Jenny laughs as they round the corner to Corridor B where Jenny's locker is located. She looks up with a genuine smile to see Andy leaning against her locker, her smile grows wider as she walks up to Andy. Garrett slows and takes Jenny's elbow before she walks off.
"I'll wait by the cafeteria," He looks at Andy. "In case he's still angry."
Jenny nods in understanding before Garrett walks off to the cafeteria, looking at the school map as he goes. She turns to walk to her locker and Andy, gripping her binder in her arms and letting her bag fall off her shoulder to rest in the crook of her elbow.
She smiles once she reaches Andy. "Hello Mr. Tough Guy," She laughs. Andy looks at Jenny before looking down at the floor. She notices his body language and clears his throat. "How is the first day of Senior year going?"
Andy looks up from the floor to look at Jenny. He shakes his head sadly. "Ever since first hour, I've been feeling like shit."
Jenny's smile fades. "You didn't know Andy," She sighs. "I dont like what you did but Garrett forgives you and so do I. Please don't let this little thing ruin your day, please."
Andy sadly smiles. "Alright."
"Now get off my locker before I have to push you away." She threatens.
Andy puts his hands up in surrender andmoves away. She hangs her bag in the locker, puts her binder on one of the two shelves, and smiles at Andy.
"Shall we?" He says, holding out his arm in a formal manner.
Jenny laughs. "You're ridiculous."
She takes his arm and walks with him to the cafeteria. She rests her head on Andy's shoulder before they turn Corridor C to get to the cafeteria. Garrett is waiting patiently for Jenny, he looks up once he hears their footsteps and puts his phone in his back pocket.
Andy tenses up then looks down at Jenny. She shrugs. "He doesn't know anyone else," She looks at Garrett. "I thought he could sit with us."
Andy sighs before looking at Garrett. "I'm sorry for earlier. I kinda lost it."
He shrugs. "Happens to the best of us, don't worry about it."
Jenny smiles before walking past the both of them and entering the cafeteria. They follow behind and Jenny leads them to the line, which is ridiculously long.
Andy looks at the line and sighs. "We're not ever gonna get nothin ta eat."
Jenny takes in a breath and taps her hand against her thigh. "Were Seniors now!"
Garrett tilts his head in confusion. "Yeah, what's your point?"
"We can leave campus!" She exclaims.
Andy nods and is already walking out the cafeteria doors to the parking lot. Jenny grabs Garrett's wrist and leads him out the cafeteria and to the parking lot.
Andy digs his keys out of his back pocket and unlocks the car, before stopping to wait for Jenny and Garrett.
"C'mon, slow pokes!" Andy says before walking to his truck.
