It had been about a month since I had came back from 1967, and things had pretty much gotten back to normal.

Of course, I still had all these posters and pictures of Syd around my room to constantly remind me of him, so that always put me in a depressed mood.

And it seemed like every single night Vanessa and Roger were having sex in her room, so I would always have to put my headphones on.

But everything seemed so empty without Syd. And I knew that we had broken up anyway, but I still had feelings for him.
No matter how frustrated I got with him, I still seemed to love him.

I could never stay or even get mad at him.

And I almost gave in to him AGAIN before I left. I knew exactly what he was doing, and he knew exactly how to get to me.

I miss him more than I'd like to admit.
I wonder what he's doing right now...

My thoughts were interrupted when Vanessa and Roger bursted through my door.

"Hannah, I have something I've been wanting to tell you." Vanessa said as she sat down next to me on my bed.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"I'm going back to 1967. And I'm staying there."

"F-forever?"

"Yeah, I'm going to move in with Roger. And of course, you're always welcome to visit, which is why I was going to leave the watch with you."

I looked down at the watch she had just handed to me, and sighed.

"Uh, thanks, I'm happy for you guys. I'm just...going to go outside for a walk." I told them as I walked downstairs and out the front door.

I didn't know what to think.
She was going to stay with Roger.....forever.
And this watch was my only way of ever seeing her again.

I would have to drop them off first, and then come back and keep the watch.
I walked back to the house and up to my room. I put the watch on, and I took their hands and there was the flash of light.

We appeared to be in...Syd's flat, of all places. You have got to be kidding me.

I scanned the room after to see if anyone was in there, and sure enough, there was Syd, sitting on the edge of the bed smoking a cigarette and playing his guitar at the same time.

I looked behind me, and all around me, but Vanessa and Roger were no where to be found.

You see, this whole time travelling thing, there's a certain way it works.
You set the watch on a certain year, and then you think of the certain place you want to go in that year.

And I was stupidly thinking about what I always think about these days; Syd.

"H-hannah, my love. Y-you're really here. " he said to me.

"Syd. I-I missed you so much."

"You did?" he asked me with a bit of hidden excitement.
