I get up for the second time today but how I woke up this time is a little different. The first time I woke up to change Angel diaper and feed her but this time Matt is shaking me.
I look up at Matt and he says "It is time to head out it's 8am" I nod at him and I put on my socks then my shoe and I see Matt gently pick up Angel and put here in her car seat. I go to the car and get two protein bars and half of bottle of water he left here then walk back into the living room seeing Matt putting on the snow boots we found in the house.
I walk up to him and wait till he is done putting on his shoe then I hand him both of of the bars and the half drunken water bottle. He looks to me "are you not going to eat anything" I shake my head no "you are driving I'm not so I can seat while you are driving" he nods his head.
When he is finish eating I pick up Angel car seat with her in it and I walk to the truck with Matt right behind me. He opens the door and I put Angel in and then I go in the truck and I close the door.
I see Matt open the garage door and when it is open he walks back and enters the truck. I lay my head on the window when I hear the car start.
5 hours later Matt shakes me awake and says "you should eat something" I nod my head and then I start to eat. I turn my head and look at Angel who is asleep "where are we" I ask. Matt responds "I don't know we should be reaching the half mark". I nod my head and I look at him and I notice something different in him.
"Did something happen while I was asleep" I ask. "N no just that people are terrible" he stutters while turning to me and I don't question him further.
I tell him "let's switch i'll drive" he nods his head and we switch seats I look at the map and I notice that we are halfway there to Canada. I drive while hearing Angle babble and then she starts crying and Matt tells me "I check on her" "um Maddie I think you need to drive faster look behind"
I turn my head and I see zombies no not zombies people wearing zombie or human guts on them and it looks fresh. One of the man takes out his gun and points towards the truck and before he can shoot I surve and press on the accelerator.
"Matt make sure Angel does not move or fall because it is about to be a crazy ride."
