the clock ticked and ticked. the ticks echoed throughout jungkooks' apartment, filling his ears as time pursued.

as jungkook stared blankly outside his bedroom window, awaiting for a certain something to appear, the emptiness inside his heart kept at it; it kept on eating what was left of his emotions and soon it was going to eat away the vessel of the owner. the emptiness was claiming another victim.

he slipped on his shoes and walked out the door; not forgetting to grab a bucket next to his door, always ready on the go.

holding his bucket as if it was going to run away, jungkooks' footsteps echoed as he walked down the stairs. little particles of eagerness and giddiness were lingering within and outside of him, though not displayed on his face or body language.

the cause of these miniscule particles was rain; he loved rain.

the familiar sounds of water droplets hitting the apartment building which greatly intrigued jungkook were getting ever so slightly louder as he neared the exit. he quickened his pace towards the doors.

PIT PAT PIT A PAT

hugging his bucket, while the rain hit his head and dripped down his face, jungkook walked to the park he loved. glances and stares were given as he hastily passed passerbys, but the looks went unnoticed; he was too immersed on where he was headed.

jungkook sat himself down on the wet grass, placed his bucket in between his lap, and just sat. he sat there for a while. as the rain continued to fall on and around him, the emptiness temporarily washed away.
