Zulina drew in a slow breath as she looked at him with such shock in her eyes. Landon's eyes shifted from her beautifully flawless face to the road. He allowed the silence to soak in so that she could inhale this knew found knowledge.

"What does this mean?" Lina finally spoke as she turned her grey blue eyes towards the window a moment. She felt his hand move to her stomach and his thumb brushed against it gently.

"It means you're more important to our kind than we realized... and Our child is destined for something and we will be in a lot of danger because of it if the wrong sort find out...That Hunter had silver... he was hunting you.... someone knows..." Landon spoke seriously as he continued to drive.

"Is it safe then to return to the pack?" Zulina asked as she scooted closer to his side to rest her head on his shoulder. For most of her life she felt different in some way. The Moon always seemed to speak to her more than the other Seers.

"Luna gave me some warnings... about a possible threat in the pack as well as my brother.." Landon began as he felt her tense slightly he mentally winced at the pain it brought his mate at the mention of the male her wolf had once wanted to claim herself. "Im sorry" He whispered.

"Mm... no its alright... Its not why I tensed..." Lina whispered softly as she closed her eyes "Titus becoming an enemy is not a good idea..." She sighed. Landon couldn't of agreed more, he'd have a much better chance against their enemies with his brother on their side.

"Perhaps... If Im able to ally with my brother.." Landon began to speak but she cut him off

"You took what he thought belonged to him even though he rejected me...And I dont entirely trust the woman who has replaced me, Landon.." She exhaled slowly as she nuzzled into his side, her body still sore from her wound which caused her to whimper out. Landon instinctively brushed her arm gently and kissed her forehead.

"My brother always had a bad taste in woman." Landon chuckled softly as he turned left onto the next highway. "We're almost home, Are you hungry? maybe we should stop somewhere to eat?" He asked as he looked down at her beautiful face as she smiled.

"I just woke up from being in a near coma for... who knows how long... dont correct me... and I could eat a damn horse" Zulina chuckled and as Landon pointed to the road sign pointing to many different restaurants his phone began to ring.

"Hold on one second my love" He said gently as he pressed the call button and sighed. "Landon. Better be good" Even through the a phone call Lina could sense his alpha power get sent through it.

"Alpha Landon, Sorry to disturb you... We need you back as soon as possible.... we have... a situation.." The stern voice of a Beta spoke back but it wasn't the beta that had tried to claim her at the Luna Hunt.
