*Louis' POV* 🦔
"It's honestly not my place to tell you guys," I say closing my locker
It was Monday morning and the boys would not stop questioning about Sunday night.
Zayn had texted me this morning telling me that they were staying with a friend of his mom because they had finally told Zayn's dad to stay away from them.
"You didn't even come back! I missed you" Harry says going to hold my hand
"Hey! That's not very platonic," I say going to stand next to Niall
"I'm sorry I forgot." He says apologetically
"I missed you too," I whisper over to him
He smiles at me and then my phone buzzes with a new text
From Zayn: Not gonna be going to school today gonna help my mom here and there.
To Zayn: What do I tell the guys?
From Zayn: nothing just tell them I'm with my mom
"Zayn's not coming. He's still with his mom." I say trying to give off that I will not be explaining any further than that
Right when Liam's gonna say something the bell interrupts him and I rush off to my first period.
I quickly enter the classroom and take a seat at my desk, completely forgetting that Harry sits right next to me
"Hello, platonic buddy." He says as he sits down next to me
I smile at him and the class begins. It goes by pretty quickly alongside my other classes because the next thing I know it's lunch. And I'm sitting at our table with Niall.
"Just ask her out, and make it obvious you want to be more than friends but not too obvious because remember you still sit next to each other in biology so that'll be awkward if she says no" I advise him
"You're right yeah. I'll just go up to her and be like Hey June woul-" He begins before he's interrupted
"Yeah?" June says taking a seat next to Niall
"Umm June! Would you like to..... sit at our table. That's what I was going to ask you" Niall says nervously
"Well thanks for the invite," She says smiling at him
Niall looks at me awkwardly signaling to help him.
"So June, thanks for talking to Harry, we made up," I tell her proudly
"That's great! So you're back together?" She asks me
"Not exactly. We're just friends for now" I say not really wanting to explain
Liam and Harry sit down just then they sit on either side of me.
"Hey June" Harry says already eating his food
"Hey," She says beginning to eat her food as well
We spend the rest of the lunch eating silently with a few sneaky knee touches between me and Harry. And before I know it lunch is over and I'm heading to my next class.
Class after that seems to go by quickly as well because next thing I know I'm getting into my car with Niall to hang out at his house.
"Let's goooooo!" Niall says loudly with sudden enthusiasm now that school had ended
"Alright, we'll go," I say turning the car on
I drive over to his house and hang out over there for a while before I head home to get to bed.
It seemed like everything was finally falling into place, for real this time.
Everyone was changed for the better, including me.

Sorry, this was such a short chapter! This is really just a place holder until the next chapter. Also, I kinda have authors block. However, unfortunately, this story will be coming to an end soon. Maybe a few more chapters before the epilogue.
