Colby brock::Rainy days

It was raining one day and I was home alone. I was bored and I called over my best friend Colby

"Bestie!!!" I squealed as he answered the phone

"Yea..yea?" He said in a raspy voice like I had woken him up

"Oh I woke you up? Sorry" I said getting sad

"No..No yes Y/n wassup mamas" he said more energized

"Can you come over. I'm bored and it's raining." I said looking down at my powder blue coffin shaped nails

"Yea I'm on my way" Colby said sounding like he was getting up

"Ok love you bestieee" I smiled

"I love you too ma" he said hanging up

I ran upstairs getting in the shower. Shaving EVERYTHING!

I put on a black pair of Calvin Klein's underwear and the matching sports bra. I slipped on a pair of Colby's sweatpants I had washed since he left them over here about 2 weeks ago. I didn't bother putting on a shirt since I had on a sports bra

-20mins later-

I was sitting on my couch scrolling on Instagram when I heard a faint knock on the door. I heard it but I didn't. If that makes sense. Then the person started beating on my door ringing the door bell

"HOLD ON!" I said irritated rolling the band of the sweatpants down

"Who tf told you to beat on my door mr.Brock?" I said snatching the door open revealing a soaking wet Colby. His blue hair stuck to his face by the water. The cold breeze hit my stomach causing me to pull him in the house so I could close the door

"Sorry. I thought you didn't hear me" he chuckled taking his XPLR hoodie off and his black air forces.

I stood on my tippy toes moving his hair out of his face.

"You wanna shower? You left some clothes over here. Ik you're cold" I said as he followed me into the living room

"Yea. They still in my drawer?" He said looking down at his rings

"Yea goofy where else would they be?" I giggled

"Well. On your body obviously" he referred to my wearing his black sweatpants

"Oh hush. Go take your shower." I chuckled getting up pushing him upstairs.

I took his hoodie and put it in the wash.

I go upstairs and knock on the bathroom door

"Colby?" I knock 2 times

"Yea mamas" he responded. The bathroom made his voice echo

"Gimme your clothes so I can wash them" I said leaning against the door frame

Seconds later he cracked the door enough for me to get his clothes. A sock fell and I squatted down to get it. The door was still cracked then idky but I looked up and saw his...umm...his "3rd leg"

I chocked on my gum and hurried back down stairs. I heard him chuckle before closing the door

The thing is...I've liked Colby 2years out of our 7 year friendship. I've just had to keep my mouth shut because Colby is the best friend everybody wants. He treats me like a princess. Comes over when I need him to. And HE BUYS ME FOOD:). Don't get me wrong. I do all of that in return. I just didn't wanna loose our bond that we had. I had to sit and watch him flirt with other females and just bite my tongue.

-hour later-

Everything was washed and dried. Me and Colby we're watching Toy story 4. His head was in my lap and I was playing in his hair

"Colbyyyyy" I whined "get uppppp my legs are going numb" I said looking down at him.

"Come here princess" he said laying down with his arms open so I laid on his bare chest as we laid on the couch finishing the movie.

-hour 30mins later-

"that was good" I yawn "come on" I said getting up grabbing Colby's hand. We went upstairs into my room. I turned on my light and Colby said on my bed leaning against the headboard looking at me

"What?" I said sitting in my spinny chair closest to the door

"Nothing. You're just so pretty" he smiled as his dimples showed

Just then the power went out. I flew from my chair to my bed cuddling into Colby

"I'm scared" I said as he tightened his grip on me

He knew I was genuinely scared of the dark

"I know princess it's fine" he said laying under the covers. Taking his sweatpants off leaving him in His black Calvin Klein boxers. I took of his sweatpants I was wearing leaving me in my black Calvin Klein panties and sports bra

"Calvin?" He said rubbing the band of my underwear

"Mhm" I said into his chest. I had my eyes closed. He smelled so good

"What color" he said rubbing my ass

"Black" I replied laying next to him. He spooned me

"You wanna be like me huh" he joked

"Boy shut up. Remember you bought me these for my birthday because I'd always wear your boxers on laundry day" I giggle as I feel his muscular arms snake around my waist

"Y/N. You know I love you. I love you like my best friend" he paused. My heart shattered. Just as a best friend. Then I felt his grip tighten pulling me back on his friend. "But in these past 3 years. I've realized my love for you has grown deeper than just 'best friend love' it turned into. 'Damn. I might wanna marry this girl' love" he said into my neck. But I heard him loud and clear. I started to tear up "Y/N this-this is different and I understand if you don't feel the same. But I've spent 3 years in love with you and I tried my hardest to contain it so I didn't get my feelings hurt. I felt as if you didn't like me the same and I tried to go wit other females but it-it didn't work. I still love you and only you babygirl" he said with so much passion and genuine feelings

"Colby I-" I started But he covered my mouth

"Shhh." He kissed my neck "listen Y/N before you say what you gotta say do you wanna be my girlfriend?" He said as his deep voice sounded louder than the thunder itself

"Y-Yes Colby. I-I've been wanting to be your girlfriend for about 2 and a half years. I love you Colby Robert. I really really do." I said turning around to face him. I couldn't see his face clearly but some moonlight was peeking through my blinds. I could see his nose piercing and his blue eyes.

"Y/n" he said looking me deeply in my eyes before kissing me

"I love you" we said in unison. We got back into spooning position and I fell asleep jumping every time the thunder would clap and Colby would pull me closer and closer. Kissing my neck every time whispering. "I'm here,,it's ok,,,I got you ma" in my ear causing me to drift asleep.
