I winced seeing him inject something into her foot. "What's that for?"

"Well.. I can't wake her up to take a painkiller can I? I want the irritation to ease down too." He explained. I had so many questions, yet he didn't mind answering any.

I didn't know if I should ask this. "The young woman in the picture.. It's her mother isn't it?"

He gave me a nostalgic smile looking at the picture. "Can't deny that can we? They look so similar."

I sat on the edge of the bed. "Ara and you are childhood friends then? Or did you meet in College?"

He laughed taking care of Minmin. "Neither.. We had an unexpected meeting before becoming friends in High School."

I smiled. "Really? I'd love to hear about that one day."

He bandaged her wounded foot. "You probably will today. Our meeting did make her parents meet."

"I'd like to hear it.. Please?" The one who was asleep minutes ago said.

I grinned patting her arm. "You're okay?"

She nodded. "Yeah, sorry for running off like that."

Wonhae smiled. "Ara is worried sick about you. Yoongi too."

She sighed. "Right.. I can't talk to her or him right now."

He accepted. "I know. Is there anything you want to know? Are you mad at me?"

She denied the second question. "I'm not.. You didn't lie. You just didn't tell and I didn't ask you so I'm not mad, but I'd like to know one thing.."

Minho's P.O.V.
"How did you meet? The four of you? You're from Seoul no?" Yes, this was my question. I wanted to know how they met. Like that I'd get a whole story and I was sure he wouldn't lie to me.

He sat down next to me. "Well.. Ara and your mother came in Seoul during a spring festival and my hyung was in a play they went to see.. It was similar to the play you did actually, but he had to pick a lady from the crowd. He chose your mother. When the play ended, I joined him while he apologized for making her go on stage when he saw she was rather hesitant. He offered her to grab a bite as an apology. Your mother told him she couldn't and that she had to meet back with Ara, but she would've loved to."

It was a sweet story. "But how did you guys meet again?"

He laughed and went on under Joon's and my careful attention. "Turns out they were transferring to our school. It was a shock to see them cross the doors. My hyung kept nudging my shoulder to point it out. He was like a happy pup."

Wait.. I just got something. "Hyung? Y-your hyung?"

He confirmed. "Yes, you heard right not long ago. My last name is the same as yours." He scratched his nape. "I'm your uncle.." He laughed. "Weird right? I never thought I'd get to say it."

I smiled sitting up. He had stars in his eyes while talking about his brother.. "You must've been very fond of your hyung."

He nodded looking at a picture of him as a teenager. "I still am. He was a kind man, tall, very good looking too. Good actor, strong.. I wished to be as good as him at sports, but I was better with books."

"So.. You guys met in High School again and became friends." Joonie started. "But how did they end up dating?"

"Well, when my hyung graduated, we had known eachother for a year and they did a play together. He asked her out after that play." He answered.

It still felt so unreal.. But that meant.. "You and Ara. The pictures.. You were only friends?"

He seemed embarrassed. "We were."

"What happened? Why didn't you date?" I insisted.

He shrugged. "It was weird, the brothers with the two childhood besties. We weren't sure either. We were young."

I grabbed his hand. "You must miss him then."

I never saw him cry. "I do. A whole lot, but we can't revive anyone."

Joon frowned. "Both died? In an accident?"

He denied. "Not really, but maybe we should resume another time.. She needs rest and I need to reassure the other ones on the other side of that door-"

I hugged him tight. "Thanks Wonhae.. For telling me the truth and taking care of me."

He hugged me back and pat my head. "He took care of me, I take care of you." He looked at my eyes. "You have my hyung's eyes.. Okay. I need to leave or I'll cry."

He close the door behind us. Joonie sat closer and caressed my back. I wasn't fond of PDA, but I like this one. "Feeling better? Hearing the truth?"

Tears started to fall. "My real parents sound so nice, it's not fair!"

He let me cry it out. "I know.. It's not fair."

"And..Ara lost her friend.. Wonhae lost his hyung.. It's not fair! Not fair at all.." I kept going. Maybe I was better not knowing afterall? It would have hurt them less..

Namjoon's P.O.V.
"I should let you rest so I'll go look if Eunho noona is still at her job." I said getting up.

She grabbed my hand. "Please stay? I'm sick, a little sad and I want to be a baby about it for once."

I laughed and sat back down. "Sure, what can I do for you?"

She seemed embarrassed. "Lay down with me? I don't want cuddles or anything.."

I smiled. "I can do that." I layed down on top of the covers. "That's good with you?"

She gave me a small nod. "Yeah, it's okay."

I didn't know if I could. "Can I.. You know. Give you a kiss? I mean- if it's okay."

She chuckled. "You're so weird it's cute. Are you seriously asking?"

I scratched my head. "Well, we didn't clearly state the status of our relationship."

She rolled her eyes. That was the Minmin I knew. She gave me a pretty grin. "I thought that me kissing you was an obvious definition of the state of our relationship."

I rose my hands up. "Hey! I prefer asking." It was so silly that I got to kiss her now. I leaned in. "That's a weird birthday for you isn't it?"

"Well.." She glanced up at me. "It's the most interesting one."

I held my chuckle. "I'm really bad at this."

She sighed. "Are we gonna stay this close for long or will you kiss me?-"

I kissed her as softly as I could and I remembered what she had said about first kisses. She was right. They were far from overrated.
