Minho's P.O.V.
We agreed on one thing as we spoke. "Let's not tell Yoongi. At all."Joon nodded. "Yeah.. I want to live."
I laughed. "Yeah, I want you to live too."
He seemed to remember something. "Oh my gosh, you must be so hungry. You said you didn't even have breakfast this morning and it's way past noon. I'll get you something."
I sat up. "No, I think I'm fine to go. I need to apologize too." I took a deep breath. "Smells like there's food ready."
"Of course you'd be attentive to the food huh?" He helped me up. "Lean on me. Wonhae came by when you were napping to tell me you shouldn't put any weight on your foot."
I took a look at it. "It doesn't seem that bad."
He agreed. "Sure, if you didn't have a competition in 3 weeks."
I had totally forgotten! "Oh goodness what will I do?"
He thought for a second. "Heal? What else can you do? You can't train with a twisted ankle."
I sighed. "You're right.. What will I do tomorrow? I can't walk to the coffee shop."
He gave me a reassuring smile. "We'll figure it out."
I leaned on him walking out of my room. I had to say, I was worried of the reaction. Especially Yoongi's.. I mean, I did push him to the floor and yell at him. He was the first person I made eye contact with. "Y.. Yoongi.. I'm very sorry for how I acted and-"
He hugged me tight, his hand into my hair. "Thank goodness you're okay.."
I embraced him too. "I'm sorry for getting you so worked up." My mother, Ara, didn't dare to approach. I cleared my throat. "Would you accept my apologies mom?"
She seemed surprised. "You.. Called me mom?"
I rolled my eyes. "I may be mad you lied about my biological parents, but you're still my mother."
She held my hand and caressed my hair. "Thank you baby.. Look at you- I didn't think you'd run off and hurt yourself this bad.. I didn't even remind you to eat I.."
I shrugged. "If you don't mind sharing lunch with me, I don't see the problem."
Yoongi's P.O.V.
We ate all together, with Namjoon. We owed him a lot for what he did. Him and I always fought. I didn't know how to act when we weren't. I nudged his shoulder. "Hey.. Rapmon?"He smiled taking a bite of his food. "Yes hyung?"
I felt weird to say that. "I owe you. Thanks."
He frowned. "No you don't. Just forget about that. You don't owe me anything."
Minho looked at us. "Right! Did the song turn out okay to your taste Yoonie?"
I nodded. "It wasn't bad at all. They even fixed the bridge problem I had."
Ara made a face. "Bridge?"
Namjoon answered for me. "Lyrically, the bridge is typically used to pause and reflect on the earlier portions of the song or to prepare the listener for the climax of the said song. Suga hyung had trouble with it so Hobi hyung and I fixed it while restoring the melody."
Now Wonhae had a weird expression. "Suga?"
Minnie laughed. "It's Yoongi's stage name. Suga. Joonie's stage name is Rap Monster."
Ara understood. "Ah! That's why you call Namjoon Moonie sometimes isn't it? Moonie for monster."
My childhood best friend laughed. "Yeah! You have that right."
I had to ask. "So.. You aren't too mad at us?"
Minho put her glass down. "Well.. You had a reason to. Once I'll know why I'll be okay with it."
Wonhae picked out the plates. "To make it simple, your parents asked for it. If you were young enough not to remember them, they asked us not to bring them up."
She seemed shocked. "Why? They were good people."
"They didn't want this situation we are in to happen." Ara explained. "It was too hard to do so. Also, try telling a 3 years old his little friend's parents were dead. We told him they went on a trip. When he was older, Yoongi understood and I'm still pissed I told him to keep is mouth shut."
I argued. "I could've told her. You told me I could if I couldn't hold the lie."
Minho seemed confused. "E-easy here.. It's hard to follow for me. What happened in the first two years of my life? I don't follow. Right now, I just know how you met and they dated, then when Yoongi was three.."
"We'll tell you when we'll take you back home." Ara said.
She got up on one foot. "What? Home?"
Wonhae sighed. "Don't argue. We need to keep an eye on you."
She wasn't arguing at all. "I get that.. Just. I have a meeting tomorrow and the concert on July first."
I took her side and found a solution. "She could stay at my dorm until July second. We're there almost all the time-" I just noticed. "Rapmon, why the hell are you wearing a dress shirt?"
He scratched his nape. "It is her birthday. The guys wanted us all to eat out. I guess it won't happen today."
Urgh.. Right. It was her birthday. She'd want a change of atmosphere. She missed the guys too. "Wonhae? Can I take your car? I swear I'll be careful and bring it back!"
He smiled. "You guys want to eat out with your friends huh?" He gave it a second and shrugged. "I let her drive, why not you." He handed me the keys. "Be careful with Minho okay? If there's anything, call us. We'll be at Ara's father's place."
I gave him an assured nod. "Don't worry." I turned to the birthday girl. "What do you think? We offer the meal and you stay at our dorm."
She was all smiles, her eyes glistening. "Really?! Can you help me pack a bag? I'm so happy you have no idea."
Oh I figured she was happy. That's all I wanted.
