Lauren's POV
"That was a great movie" Camila whispered. The cloudy sky brought out the redness of her lips and the snow gently hit her face. "Yeah. It was. Thank you for coming wi-""I had a great time" she cut me off. "How did I ever get so lucky to have you?" "Well.... You do buy me food all the time. You're a keeper" she giggled. As we pulled out of the movie theater Camila turns on the radio. I look over to find her singing along to a One Direction song. "Stop staring at me you creep" she lightly punched my upper arm. "It wouldn't be so hard not to stare if you weren't so beautiful" "i'm not beautiful though" I pulled over seeing that the icy roads were empty. "Listen to me. You are the most beautiful person on this planet. I look at you and think, how did I ever get so lucky to have her. I love waking up next to you. Watching your chest rise up and down in a steady pace and hearing your light snores"
Nobody's POV
That was it. Moment of impact. Ambulances and Policemen rushed over to the sight of the car crash between a truck driver and a young married couple. A few hours later Lauren woke up in panic. "WHERES CAMILA. WHERE IS SHE" she cried.
"Ma'am, i'm sorry but you have to stay calm. Camila's fine although she did hit her head against the glass pretty hard so she might have some brain swelling. Other than that she's good." Lauren felt relieved Camila was still alive. She couldn't help but think if she hadn't taken Camila out on a date they wouldn't be here, you know, in this situation.
A few days passed by and Camila had just woken up. No clue with what had happened.
"W-whats going on" she stuttered.
"Camila, you were in a car accident" her eyes wondered all over the room.
"You do know who I am, right?" Lauren asked. "Yeah. My doctor" Camila said confidently. Lauren walked over and sat down next to Camila's bed. "I'm your wife" she said in a whisper like tone. She reached over to grab the younger one's hand but only to have Camila pull away. The younger brunette looked at her wedding ring in disbelief. Lauren looked down at her feet "you said she was fine" Lauren looked at the doctor. "It's not like a bone. You don't know what damage a brain can do." .
