Jessica's P.O.V

I took a deep breath before stepping onto the plane. It would be the first time I would leave my home country alone. It couldn't get any more worse.

My parents just recently broke up. My sister has been gone for 14 months and there isn't any real hope of finding her.

I'm leaving for England because I'm going to be studding english at Oxford university. I received a scholarship and it was too good an opportunity to miss.

I couldn't for a second pretend I was happy about leaving. I just new it would be best for my future. It took a lot of convincing, but in the end I lost the argument.

I'm going to stay at a hotel for a while and then I'll be moving in with my cousin, Samantha. I missed her. She is just one of those people who can make you laugh at anything.

The flight attendant hurried me into the plane. "Bye dad, I love you" I said waving my hand. " love you too Jess take care ok?" He replied back with a concerned look on his face."I will!" I said with a convincing smile.

I found my seat on the plane next to the window which was good. I love watching the clouds as the plane moves past. When I was a kid I used to think all the clouds were like vanilla flavored cotton candy.

The flight attendants did that little safety routine and then we were off. Apparently the flight from Ireland to England isn't too bad. I just hope that's true because I hate plane trips.

A guy sitting next to me gave me this warm smile before asking me what I was doing in England. "Oh, I'm coming to study english" I said smiling back. We began talking for a while. He was really funny. I told him about my family and how hard it was for me to leave.

"I don't know what it's like to have your parents splitting up, but a mate of mine experienced it and he said it was really hard" the guy said looking at me consolingly.

"Ah, it doesn't matter. I guess I'll get over it" I said trying to fight back my tears. He looked at me and I couldn't help but cry. "I'm so sorry, I don't even know you and I'm telling you my life story" I said crying. I wiped my tears and looked out the window.

He grabbed my shoulder to get my attention. "You know, I'm sure it will get better. If you need someone to keep you company in England I'm just a phone call away" he said writing down his number on a piece of paper.

"Thank you" I said giving him a convincing smile. "So how long are you in England for?" I asked. "A little while. I'm going to America soon, for business." He said scratching the back of his head.

"Business?" I asked laughing. "You look no older 17" I said smiling. "Close, 18. Yeah, I know it's kinda one of those crazy, you will never understand, kind of things" he said almost jokingly. "Ahh, I see agent 589" I said before laughing. He just turned to me and gave me this cheeky smirk.

I soon noticed this younger girl in front of us staring straight at him. She almost looked shocked. Her eyes widened. I looked over at him.

"What's your name oh mysterious one?" I asked anxiously. "Niall" he replyed short and quick. "How about yours, beautiful flight accompaniment?"

I laughed, what a cheesy pick up line! "Jessica, my friends call me Jess" I answered smiling. "I'm not you friend, Jess?" He asked looking at me. "Well I have to think about it" I replied teasingly. We both laughed.

He was really attractive. He had sunglasses on, which was odd because it was like 12:00am. He had this bleach blonde hair which kind of reminds me of sand.

I examined his clothes. His clothes screamed hobo chic. It wasn't to bad I guess but I couldn't imagine him dressed up. He smiled, before reading my mind.

"You don't like my clothes?" He asked curiously. I laughed trying to hide my future lie. "No, why do you say that?" I said confidently. He just looked at me with a cheeky smirk and shook his head.

The pilot's voice blasted through all the overhead speakers. "We will be arriving in London in 10 minutes. It's 4am, the weather is cold with a chance of rain. We hope you enjoy your stay in London and fly with us again."

"Awesome" I said sarcastically. I mean i knew I'd be arriving at 4am-ish but I didn't know it would potentially be raining. I hate rain I always have. For some reason more than others.

Niall just looked at me plainly before staring into my eyes. He looked at me for a while before sheepishly turning away.

The plane landed and I went to collect my hand bag from the overhead compartment above my seat.

As I walked out I was talking to Niall a bit more. He just made me laugh so much. As we walked out of the plane terminal and onto the main sitting area he smiled at me. He then laughed and gave me a cute hug and a kiss on the cheek.

I blushed.

I noticed the lighting from the massive window from inside the airport lobby. "Bye Niall, nice meeting you!" I said as I walked off waving.

"We should catch up sometime Jess" he said giving me a mischievous wink. "Hmm, let me think about that one" I said laughing.

He just smirked. "Well you have my number" he said flirtatiously. "What-ever" I said smiling and completely walking off.

Biggest achievement so far, meeting a crazy hot guy on the plane. Gets his number & he just happens to be my nationality! Where's my gold star? I laugh to myself before hoping into the nearest taxi.
