"In the early days of Thyier, there were two kinds of people. Those blessed by the gods and the normal average everyday people(like us). These people were on a unsteady peace agreement, like a canoe in water. The two had tried to get along in the past but jealousy and corruption are dastardly things. They lead the mind astray and take you to dark caverns. These dark caverns just so happened to be filled with crucifixes and nooses in a non literal sense. The blessed were murdered but thanks to the tactic of running and hiding in fear, they were able to survive." "With the advancements to science came a form of peace. Finally managing to work together we were shoved out of the spotlight and, being a passive kind as to not restart a war, we sucked it up. We faced hatred from our fellow brethren for years. When space travel was finally polished we never expected to see the stars, but we also never expected them to leave.  Whilst they were out in the stars we rejoiced, because we had a peaceful planet to ourselves. We relished in this fact for 5 years. Then the shit show. The first capsule landed. We were terrified, and for good reason, because that capsule held Ber, a violent criminal from the large space station called Elix. The strongest went to confront him, and when he fought so did they. After a long day of fighting he was downed. Many headed back to camps to rejoin with family. But then the meteor shower began, the first in centuries, which was peculiar since Thieyr isn't near any asteroid belts. When they landed the first bot emerged, along with many criminals. Many of our kind decided to try and fight the men, but we underestimated the bots. Many were built with weapons of military grade, while we merely had our fist and abilities to fight back. Many were lost that day. Families wept. We moved from central Thyier to the outskirts of the badlands. Some moved into the badlands and are said to have made a life out their. Some people say in central Thyier there are even some bots left roaming, while criminals are still being dropped too, and they fight each other." "Dad, no offense but that sounds stupid, that was over a century ago, it's all dust," came a snarky reply. A small sigh was heard from the kitchen, "Markus, my boy, cant you tell I'm reading to the children," was the only statement heard. The banter continues for a few good moments before a slamming of the book is heard and Heb appears in the living room. "Shouldn't you be helping Brutus at the store." Markus shifted into the couch further," he just texted me, he said he doesn't need my help." Turning to walk away Heb give one last glance to the living room. "Do you have anything planned tonight?" Markus glanced up from his cellphone. "No, I'm being cautious, I'm hanging onto a limb here, remember?"( Now, we dont remember this because its never been said before, but Markus was blessed with an ability of regeneration. He can outlive most things due to a high survival chance but he takes twice as long to heal and has a low pain tolerance. When he if forced to use his ability he becomes heavily nauseated and passes out, leaving him vulnerable. Being stupid he got into a knife fight.) Markus points to his arm showing a deep gash on it. "I think I'll leave it up to the city to throw it's own party tonight." Thyier had become a hot spot for people in the galaxy looking for a good time at night, since prostitution is illegal and Elix. The alcohol is said to taste better and the thrill of killing people without consequence drew many sickos in, the only catch, leave before sunrise, that's when the "alleged" bots restart. Do that and your home free, stay hungover and your dead and more than likely abandoned because somebody stole your ship.  Heb left the living room, looking to make a pot of coffee. Markus gently grabbed his arm and rolled over, deciding to go to sleep on the couch instead of his bed.Snoring, Markus  fell asleep, having dream less sleep.
