Jake slung his arm round me and walked us out of the hospital. I couldn't take my eyes off him.
He does care. He seriously does. I've realised I do like Jake. A lot. I wonder if he likes me back.. Probably not. I bet he only likes me as friend, I mean you can only care about someone a certain amount. Otherwise it's love. I think.
"Lauren.. Why are you looking at me?" Jake laughed.
"No reason" I said as I looked away.
"O..k!?" He said awkwardly as he took his arm off my shoulders.

'I think I'm in love' I smiled to myself. Well, I think.. I'm not too sure.
I think I'll only have feelings for him if he has feelings for me. Because otherwise it will be really awkward!
But I don't think he likes me like that, at all. So there is no way that he will ever be my boyfriend. I sighed really loud as my mum heard. Or, she was just listening in on my though the door with a cup or something.
My mum came flying through the door. "Lauren, what's the matter?" She asked looking puzzled.
"Nothing!" I said getting up from the bed walking through the door. "Lauren, I know when your upset. Tell me. What is it sweetie?" "Mum! It's nothing! So stop getting in on MY business!" I shouted up the stairs.
"So there IS something wrong!" She said following me down.
"MUM, it's just boy problems, Ok?!" I said sitting on the sofa grabbing the remotes.
