Boxes fill the house as Lucy empty's her room ready for moving out to Halifax in west Yorkshire. It felt strange to be her old room what used to have posters and carpets making it feel more homely, her bookshelf what used to be standing in the corner full of her favorite books was now replaced by empty space. Lucy heart was pounding at the thought of someone else calling this room their own, it was hers, she learnt to walk, talk and crawl in this room and didn't feel ready to let it go, but as usual she had no choice.... "LooLoo are you comming were ready to go!" Shouted her dad's deep voice from downstairs, it sounded so naturally Scottish she couldn't imagine it being more Yorkshire, same with her mum. Molly would also grow into a Yorkshire accent while Deri and Lucy would slowly adjust into one their selves making them grow out of their Scottish roots. Lucy picked up her shoulder bag and ran down the stair, out of the house.
