I Survived Chapter 1

"Hey, Sadie! How's it goin' " Abigail asked her friend when she sat in the seat next to her.

"I's is gooods. And yous?" Sadie asked in a goofy voice.

"Quit talking like that!" Abby laughed

"Nevers!"

"Really?" Abby raised an eyebrow.

"Uhhh... n-oo."

"Good!"

"Okay, class. Get out your flashbacks and answer the questions on the board." the teacher said from the front of the class.

The girls got their paper out and began answering the questions. All of a sudden the PA system pinged.

"CODE RED!"

The teacher rushed to go and close and lock the door.

" Everyone hide and stay hidden until we are cleared" she said

"Sadie I'm scared"

"Don't worry I am, too. I have never been through this before."

"When I was in fourth grade the school was called with a bomb threat. They evacuated both my school and the high school."

"Really?"

"I would never lie about something like that!"

"Okay, Sorry! Don't chew my head off!"

"Ugh, why would I try to eat your head?"

"No, reason.""

Sadie why is it taking so long?'

" I have no idea. Hold on and I will ask." she said

" Mrs. Messer why is it taking so long to be cleared. Usually it takes about ten minutes."

" I honestly don't know. Hold on I will call the office and check."

Mrs. Messer gave the office a call. It rang and rang. Finally, Mrs. Messer just unlocked the door and went to check what was happening

" Class stay here until I get back. Abby your in charge. Lock this door when I leave. Don't unlock it for anyone but me and other teachers okay."

" Alright." Abby said

Abby went and locked the door behind Mrs. Messer.

"Okay, everyone. Let's just stay calm." Abby said real soothingly.

Just then a scream from the hallway.
