The white wooden door creaked open and his canvas clad foot slid through the doorway. The rest of his lean body followed; unconcealed by the opaque wood. His dress top sat crooked and crumpled against his skin with the first three top buttons open revealing his smooth chest with only a slither of his black tie interrupting the bare expanse of skin. His sandy hair stood up at spontaneous angles and was surley tainted by the nights happenings. Whatever they may be.

You see, Louis was my flat mate. Yes thats right, Louis Tomlinson from One Direction is my flat mate. Yes, he sleeps in the same house as me. Yes, we share a fridge, a TV and a bathroom. And despite how much I wish it weren't true, that reality were warped and my dreams fulfilled; No, we are not an item. He looked over at me and his thin lips quirked up into his familiar smile.

"Look at you with your long messy brown bed head and big puffy eyes!" He laughed as he walked towards me and ruffled my hair before sittiing down next to me and pulling me close to his side.

"Good morning to you too Lou" My voice came out husky; as if I hadn't slept the night before and swallowed a ton of chips without chewing. I lay my head on his shoulder, now eye level with the patch of revealed skin. It was 4:30am and Louis had just arrived from a 'business meeting' out in London central.

"How was your business meeting?" I used my hands and drew quotation marks into the air as I spoke.

"It was good, we got through a lot of stuff" His eyes briefly swept over mine before they fixed somewhere on his lap. His arm that was around my shoulder now sat clenched in the other between his knees. I pushed myself off his shoulder and pulled out my phone. A cheeky smile spread across my face in an attempt to hide the pain and sadness I was feeling inside.

"Don't you mean you got through a lot of 'giirls?" I pulled up an image I found on twitter of Louis last night at the 'business meeting' aka The Funky Buddha night club. It was Lou standing with his hands behind a woman's thighs with her arms wrapped around his neck; their lips lock in a kiss. The next photo sourced from the same person, of Lou with  yet another girl this time leaning into her ear and whispering, a seductive smile spread on her face. Louis' face went a crimson shade of red before draining of all colour and Turing to pale white.

"Micayla...I..." His eyes remained fixed on his hands.

"Louis, why don't you just tell you're going out? It's not a crime you know" As upset as I was seeing those photos, I couldn't let him know. I couldn't let him know how I felt about him. About his smile. His eyes. His lips. His bottom even! I pretty much loved Louis and seeing him with girls like this was slowly killing me inside. But, I was his flat mate, his best friend. His sister practically. He doesnt love me. So I have to act like I like I don't love him.  His mouth opened and closed, his lips pouting making me want to press my lips against his.

"I know. But it's not that I think its a crime...its just that..." He trailed off

"Its just what?" My eyes stared straight at his. The ice blue orbs glazed over as tiny streams of water pooled on his waterline, threatening to overflow and run down his pained face.

"Its just that..."He began. His voice shaking and full of emotion "Its just that...I'm embarrassed. Ashamed even of what I'm doing. I can't have someone as important to me as you find out. Especially you. Micayla, I'm practically a womanizer. I go through handfuls of woman each night, damn it! And not one of them- not a single one of those woman, not one thing that they and I did meant a thing! I do it simply because I can. Because it's fun' because they're are there practically throwing themselves at me! I lied to you about it because I knew that it was wrong. I knew that it would change the way you saw me, the Way you touch me and how you think of me. Hell, you'd probably hate me.I didn't want you to know because I couldn't risk you. I could't risk our friendship or the way you look at me when I do something stupid or your smile when I make you laugh. I couldn't risk loosing you Micayla over something that means absolutely nothing to me but a bit of fun. I couldn't risk any of what we had because I love you!" His chest heaved up and down as the tiny streams of water slipped down his crimson cheeks. "I was lonely. I used them to try and fill the empty space because I know that you don't love me" My heart was racing. He loves me. My body shook as the reality of what he said sunk in. Louis Tomlinson Loves Me. He gave a sad shrug of his shoulder, a wry smile formed on his unturned mouth. " I guess fame isnt all its cut out to be....no girl wants you because they have to deal with it too" No, no,no Louis! My mind searched for the right thing to say, for a speech as magnificent and heart wrenching as his. It searched for anything, anything that could convey the pure euphoria that was running through my body in this moment. I watched as his eyes searched mine looking for an answer. Nothing. Only because I was frozen. Caught up in my dream! I was frozen in happiness and all I could do was watch as his face contorted from my silence.
