"I guess... this is goodbye," Allison said solemnly, slowly looking up at her father.
"I suppose... I'm going to miss you, though." Hero replied. He knelt down and gave her a gentle hug, being careful of her wing. They seemed to hug forever.
Hero eventually let go of the embrace, and Allison stared at the Portal again.
"Find your mom. She has-"
Suddenly an explosion shook the whole building. Both of them immediately swerved their heads around to look at the entrance to the Portal Room.
It was like fire and ice outside.

Where are they, where are they, WHERE ARE THEY?
Adam was mentally panicking, wildly looking around. I know I don't have much time, I need to find them before Douglas realizes they're not at his castle.
His wyvern eyes greatly enhanced his sight; he could see an Enderchild (young enderman) playing with their toy in a window, a few streets away; he could see lights turning on and off the moment they do; he could see the tiny cracks and nails in the walls of houses and buildings.
Compared to this, I would need glasses, he thought to himself, trying to lighten his mood. The burden of the real reason he was here was beginning to put weight on his shoulders as he remembered.
"Master, I'm going to fail you again." He said out loud. He took off from the roof he was sitting on, looking down to search for her, and somewhat her father, too.
"Out of all of them that exist, he asks for her?"
He began running through the dialogue in his head.

"Adam, I am in need of your assistance."
Adam bowed on a knee, rapier clanking on the cold stone floor. "What can I do to ple-"
"Skip the formalities, let's just get right to the chase."
He stood straight up. "Sorry, just habits."
"Good habits, it's just that this is an emergency. I don't have time for little things like that."
"Right, so, what can I help with?"
"I have a quest for you and you alone."
Adam hesitated. Alone? I've always been alone on quests.
"As you know, I am a paleontologist. I study fossils. I think I found a breakthrough, but I need, hmm, well..."
The man speaking to Adam stared down upon him, choosing his next words carefully.
"I need, living proof."
Adam stood there, confused. "What? Living proof, of fossils?"
"In other words, I believe I identified a new species from the fossils that were sent to me last week. And I need you to get a specimen for me."
