1.) He was exiled by the village and was told to never return.
2.) when he transformed into a great ape and he killed people his tail got cut off and when he woke up he had a collar on his neck. And every time he did something that he wasn't suppose to he was electrocuted and he lived with this for so many years that he was fed up and retaliated against the ninjas that did this to him.
Also no matter what Goku and Vegeta will appear in this story.
