"Holly!"
I sighed loudly and fell off of my never-once-made bed, flopping onto the shaggy blue carpet. My kitten, Ash, peaked from under the desk, her yellow eyes wide and frightened.
"Stupid Tony." I muttered, picking Ash up gently.
Ash mewed in protest, struggling out of my arms and onto my bed.
"Fine, be that way." I laughed, grabbing a rubber band and pulling my long brown-with-some-purple-that-my-mom-despises into a loose ponytail.
"Holly! Mom wants you down here now!" I could hear my ten year old brother's voice from my room. Then again, I'm guessing I could hear it all the way in Africa.
With a sigh, I walked downstairs, passing a assortment of my cats. Perhaps having eight isn't the best gig.
