Now Including Thunder

As Drax charged at the large Siren we came up with a plan to kill it. "Troy and Elena, keep her in the water. Lauren, Raven, we join Drax in the attack. Violet, figure out your powers already." I said giving command to the team. Once the plan was in action I heard Troy say, "Stay in the water." His charmspeak has gotten stronger since he first made us steal that boat. Elena brought the water to consume the large Siren, constraining her of movement.

Raven and I shot arrows as fast as we could, they seemed to have no affect of this siren. As we continued shooting the skies got darker, the sun was no longer in sight, and the area began looking as though it was already night. There was complete silence in our small battle, even the siren had a look of confusion. Then there it was, a large bolt of lightning shot the siren directly in the head, killing it. When the clouds opened up again a boy was falling from the skies, he seemed to be unconscious.

I altered the light to bring him down into my arms and I then set up down gently.

"Did he just steal our thunder?" Drax said out of breath.

"I think he was our thunder." Raven responded.

"He's dehydrated and has a broken arm." I said not knowing how I knew that. The voice of Apollo was in my head again. This time saying, "Use the fire."

Once I heard that I set my hands on fire like I did last night, but this time instead of shooting, I placed it over his heart. The boy began moaning and started blinking as he regained consciousness.

"What up freak?" Raven said as the boy sat up looking confused.

He then began floating around us, looking afraid. "Chill, Peter Pan, you saved us from the siren, and Caleb over here healed you." Drax said pointing at me.

"Thank you. My name is Jake, son of Zeus. My team and I tried taking on the siren earlier this week, sadly, I lost them to her. I would've tried using the Lightning but that takes all of my energy and we couldn't get her to keep still then. I'm grateful for your help, I'll be on my way now." Jake said with a deep sound of morose in his voice.

"Jake you're welcomed to join our team. We each have Godly parents as well, Poseidon, Apollo, Aphrodite, Athena, Artemis, Hades, and Violet was only left with a hint to figure out her patent." I said to Jake before he could fly away.

"May I hear the hint?" He asked curiously.

"Everyone loves a Greek Trivia." Violet said disappointed.

"Hecate." Jake said looking surprised at how we didn't know. "The Roman Goddess of cross roads is named Trivia, and the greek version of Trivia is Hecate, Goddess of Magic."

"How did I not figure that out?" Lauren said looking bummed out.

We stood in an awkward silence until the, now empty, lake began to sprout a mist from it. The mist grew, forming a large body. Seconds later the mist spread, revealing a beautiful lady. She had long brown hair and was dressed in a white and gold dress.

"Violet. I see you have discovered your parentage. Zeus' boy was right, I, Goddess of Magic, am your mother." Hecate said calmly.

"Why couldn't you just tell me like everyone else? Why don't I get a weapon? What am I supposed to do with a bottle of water?" Violet said in a tone of hurt.

"My dare, although I am the Goddess of Magic, I am also the Goddess of Crossroads. I knew you would meet the son of Zeus, I knew you would have this team, I knew he would tell you of who I am. And as for your weapon. It's not just water, it's mist. The mist is used to form illusions. It's how we gods stay hidden in the human world, it's how creatures stay hidden, which is why you may have not seen that the Sirens had sharp teeth and claws until they begun to attack. The way this mist works is you must know what others want and use it against them."

"Thanks but-" Violet said before being cut off by Hecate again.

"I don't have much time. I am here to test your team. Defeating the Cyclopes Polyphemus will lead to more monsters finding you, more things wanting to kill you, and one of you will end up disappearing in the shadows of death, however turning around will save emotional pain, but cause disruption in the family of Heat, and the downfall of a kings throne." Hecate paused. "Your fate has been given. Pride will destroy your team if not calmed." She finished.

She then disappeared back into the lake again.

"So Jake. Now that a Goddess has suggested it, will you join us?" Raven said breaking the silence.

"Sure," he said floating closer to us. "My teams boat is still on the other end of this island if you guys don't have one yourself." Jake suggested.

"That sounds so far. I am not about to spend all day wa-" Troy said before he was cut off by the wind lifting us all up.

We all began floating towards the coast of the island and landed on a large white boat within seconds. The boat was the exact same one we saw in Troy's mirror.

"How the hell did you do that Peter Pan?" Drax said amazed that he just flew.

"My dad is the God of the Skies, Curious George." Jake said smirking at Drax.

"Oh shit, shots fired!" Troy said enjoying the insults being thrown around.

"This isn't over angel boy." Drax said glaring at Jake.

"I think it is, Ghost Whisperer." Jake said setting sail to the boat. "Ok guys, the island of Cyclopes is a few miles south. Anyone know how to drive this thing?" He said looking around.

"Daughter of Poseidon on board." I said pointing at Elena.

"I got this." Elena said changing sails, and lifting the anchor with just the point of a finger. She then went to the steering wheel and drove us from the small strait.

"So Caleb, since when are you able to go all doctor on us?" Raven said playing with her bow.

"I don't know honestly, I heard a voice similar to my dad's telling me what to do." I said modestly.

When we arrived at the Island of Cyclopes you could see all the wild animals roaming the plains below a large mountain.

"Uh guys? That deer just said 'The monster rests in the cave with the sheep'" Raven said confidently.

We all stopped and glared at her. "Since when did you become Dr.Dolittle?" Drax said laughing. Raven shut up him up by shooting an arrow near his head.

"Since I could do that." Raven said walking towards the mountain.

"More shots fired, literally this time." Troy said, turning his mirror back into a dagger.

To get to the cave in the mountain Jake lifted us up to the entrance.

"Do we go inside?" Troy said.

"I don't see why not?" Drax said running inside.

We followed Drax inside the cave, not knowing what we would do to defeat the Cyclopes.
