There is a rumor that has been going around for centuries. It is a rumor that scares children into obeying, a rumor that scares adults into staying inside during the night, a rumor that is true.
It is a rumor about a room. A room that makes you see your worst fears. No one really knows what makes this happen, but the few survivors came back insane; spouting words about demons and cults.
The rumor says: "Any person who stays outside after 12:45 at night gets taken to the 'Panic Room'. There they will be put in there with 9 other people. The people who survive the next 24 hours will be able to leave and enjoy the rest of their short lives... Though you will know if your loved one died to the panic room. An envelope will appear on your door the next day, it will contain a part of your family member. Maybe a ring or maybe a finger."
No one really knows who governs the panic room. The survivors could only muster incoherent words until they eventually got locked up in one of the many mental institutions Silas City had built.
There are a lot of theories about who or what governed the infamous 'Panic Room', and young Nikki Adler knew every one.
