Kingdom Rush does not belong to me, but to Ironhide. And no, not Transformers Ironhide. If it DID belong to me, I probably wouldn't be doing this.
Inside a massive tunnel, deep beneath the ground, the sounds of spells being cast, missiles flying and exploding upon impact, blades clashing, and the screams and battlecries of the combatants can be heard along with the destruction of ancient stone.Right in front of a crossbow tower, a giant humanoid lizard armoured in futuristic armour and two long energy whips swung, sending an assassin crashing into the wall. The man, miraculously alive, tries to crawl away before a smaller but still tall Lizardman held up a spear before bringing it down on the assassin, ending his life and running out of view, into combat with another warrior.
Just outside, the larger lizardman, a Lizardman referred to as a Brute, faces off against two dozen armoured warriors armed with bows, dual-wielded blades, two-sided polearms, and sickles. The creature roars as a bipedal mechanical vehicle unleashes missiles upon more lizardmen behind them, the dwarves piloting it rushing to keep up.
The warriors charge at the creature, with six sickle-wielders using chain kamas to restrain it, only for three to be launched to the side as the creature pulled with its might, sending the three of them crashing into a cave wall and falling to their deaths, far from where their comrades can see them.
The combatants unleash their full might, and the focus goes to other fighters. Ahead of their position was an all-out melee between the Lizardmen, the humans, and the dwarves. The two latter races working together alongside undead. Three dwarves wielded massive warhammers, breaking the scales, armour, and bones of their reptilian foes.
Alongside them were tall, muscular men fully armoured and wielding large swords and equally as tall and armoured skeletons, along with the walking skeletons of Lizardmen. They swung and thrust, quickly taking down their foes as a robed figure above a tower raised their staff, forcing the skeletons of the fallen from their bodies and melting their flesh into nothing, replenishing their forces.
And finally, a heavily armoured dwarven warrior wielding a hammer and a large round shield, standing alongside four of the Knights Templar.
Just above, if one followed the lizardman-made pathway up the wall, was where the fighting was fiercest.
The sturdy buildings of assassins, necromancers, knights templar, dwarven DWAARP's, crossbow towers, and knights stood somewhat broken and evidently beaten. The corpses and skeletons of both sides littered the ground and blood coloured the ancient stone, weapons and armour scattered across the ground.
Lizardmen Broodguard and Myrmidons, wielding spears and dual-wielding large blades, clashed with the knights and skeletons, brutes went toe-to-toe with knights templar squads, blazefangs turned the defenders to ash whilst Necromancers turned their bodies to rotten and decayed corpses or fresh skeletons.
The Skeletons dealt with any stragglers or fought against Darters and Broodguard. Savants summoned more Lizardmen as Necromancers reanimated the dead, and reinforcements from both sides came.
The walls were climbed up and down by the Lizardmen, their Quetzals and Razorwings covering the ceiling as Crossbowmen and Tribal Axethrowers shot at them or their walking brethren. The Assassins present came in and went out of sight, using their skills and magics to turn invisible as they fought against the equally as stealthy Nightscales.
The humans and dwarves held their ground, despite the massive technological gap between them and their enemies.
A Saurian Warlord went forward towards the end of the defenders' lines, towards a young man in bronze-coloured armour, fighting alongside three sand warriors and numerous Knights, Templars, and Assassins as he swung his blade and decapitated another Saurian Broodguard, his eyes glowing a bright red.
