She was at the training grounds watching him.... the boy that made her whole job even possible... when she was first taken. By whom do you ask? Well no other then the shadows that lurk in the darkness, the ones who are called upon when things go south and someone needs to get the job done to secure the safety of the village. The ANBU from ROOT.
"Look I swear I didn't do anything wrong," Meile shouted as she was thrown to the ground.
"You guys are so pitiful! Can't even show your face to your victim huh!" The girl shouted when she realized they weren't going to answer back.Thinking quick and carefully, she vanished from the anbu's vision making them keep their senses on point. Confusion ran through their heads, how can this girl escape from them? Or maybe that's why Lord Danzo wants her.
Run. That one word kept repeating in Meile's head. Running from tree to tree manipulating shadows to secure her presence, she thought about why would ANBU be after her. Did they finally find out about her past? That thought frightened her, if this theory was true it meant one thing... She had to go.
Racing outside of the villages gates, she felt a strong gust of wind. And then the shadows began to whisper."Demon child.....she has been awakened....get..her to safety."
Shadows went out of her control and started to race towards a certain direction. And by a gut feeling she followed.
It's been a hour and they finally stopped. The whimpers of a baby silently became noticeable, curiously Meile walked towards the sound, walking faster as it got louder. And finally she stopped. She stood unblinkingly as the scene in front of her unfolded. Trees fallen and pieces of the ground lifted. Three males laid on the ground. Two of them were at least ten feet away and lifeless but without any injuries that would've killed them. One laid without life under a young girl in a pile of blood. Syncing the area for the source that brought her closer. Behind a bush was the sound maker. The baby.
Manipulating the shadows of the fallen trees, she lifted the baby and the child bringing them closer, examining them. The baby, now quiet, raised her hands, reaching out to the night sky as it began to rain softly."Can't leave them... he's close by..save..them."
Meile thought hard and decided that maybe she can bring them to the village, and hopefully her theory was wrong.
"Okay. . .uh. . ." Meile picked up the baby and the little girl and ran of to her home in the village. Once she arrived, Meile took a look around before walking in to her apartment.
"What am I suppose to do now?" She said softly as she placed the little girl on the couch.
A whine caught her attention. It was the little girl.
Meile stepped towards the girl and kneeled besides her. The little girl opened her eyes, landing directly on Meile. She let out a soft gasp and tried to scurry off."Please don't hurt me like they hurt my brother."
Meile's eyes softened as she stared at the crying girl.
"Hey, no, no. I'm not here to hurt you. I'm a nice person, I pinky promise."
The crying girl glanced at Meile before her eyes landed on her baby sister.
"Is she okay?" She asked Meile, referring to the baby in her arms.
Meile nodded. "She's just shaken up. . .what's your name, sweetie?"
"Yuki."
"Yuki, huh? That's a cute name. What's this little cutie's name?"
"Jasmine. . ."
"Both are wonderful names." Meile smiled softly at Yuki, not wanting to scare her any further.
"What's your name, miss?" Yuki asked.
