Y/n and his brother Micheal were orphaned when they were 7 and 16 respectively. The only thing their parents left them in their will was the house. The death had a impact on young Y/n and lead Michael to be very protective of him.
Although the two love each other very much, Michael is one of the smartest/strongest people on the planet, let alone the only male able to pilot an IS, Y/n can't help the growing inferiority complex he was feeling towards his brother. This level of knowledge impressed Tabane who payed the Appartement that the brothers lived in a visit She brought Houki along and she instantly latched onto Y/n despite his emotionless attitude towards her because of the loss of his parents. Although Michael was less than thrilled Because Tabane took a liking to him and he despised her childish personality.

(Y/n) ^ Y/n has a very emotionless personality and is rarely surprised by anything(other than girls). He does let his playfully side out around his brother and friends but that rarely happens. Although if he feels threatened he can make his opponent's life hell.

(Michael)^ Micheal is very passive aggressive to people he dosen't know and often cracks jokes amongst dark situations, he does this to mask his feelings: an example is when he learned their parents died he said this: "hey, at least they can't tell me to clean my room anymore". He is extremely smart and strong willed shown through his snarky personality.
