Summer
"Hello." I yawned.
"Summer come open up the door." Sy'aire spoke into the phone.
I kicked my blankets off of me and walked downstairs to open up for Sy. I guess she decided to come here to Atlanta instead of going back home with Ty, but you think she would since we still haven't really talked since that argument.
"Wassup." I mumbled.
"Can you help me with that other bag?" She came in with two bags already. I nodded and helped her bring her stuff up to her room.
As I was about to leave out the room, she called me back. "Yeah?"
"Um can we talk?" I sighed and sat down on her bed. It was about 3 in the afternoon and dad was at the studio I believe, so we were the only two in the house plus Rosa.
"About what happened a couple weeks ago, that whole situation was so dumb and it's no reason for us to hate each other and stop talking to each other for damn near a month."
"I didn't know we hated each other, I just thought that we were really mad at each other and I thought eventually we were going to be bounce back, you know how it usually is."
She stared at me for a long moment and for a second I thought she was done with the conversation. "See that's the thing, you always think things are just supposed to go back to how it was before and you never take responsibility for your actions or apologize for shit you say or do." At this point, I could tell she was getting upset.
"So you want me to say sorry for saying what I said to you?" I questioned.
"Yes!"
"Okay. Sy'aire I apologize for saying what I said to you and saying it in front of Jordan and Jeremiah. That wasn't their business to know and I don't completely know what you do on your personal time so I have no right to speak on it." I looked in her eyes to let her know that I was sincere.
Before she said anything, she hugged me for about a good minute. "Thank you Summer and I accept your apology. Also I'm sorry for screaming at you and saying what I said to you."
We laughed and talked for about an hour. I loved my sister and nothing could ever change that.

6 weeks later.
"Ight just one mo' picture." Dad held up his phone one more time and I heard the camera click about three times.
"You girls look so adorable." Ty smiled and pinched Sy's cheek, who was also loving every moment of this, the pictures, the compliments. We both had our long hair put into two ponytails that were wrapped into buns. Sy had on a black skirt and a white shirt with a red trim and I had on a black skirt also with a red shirt and a white trim and we both wore a pair of white converse with the red trim. At this point I was ready to get back into bed cause honestly it was way too early to be up taking pictures.
"Okay so do you girls have everything you need?" Ty looked at us.
"Yes now can we go. I'm hungry and I don't want you to be like we don't have time to stop for food before school and yada yada ya.." I mocked her voice causing dad and Sy to laugh.
"Girl shut up." She laughed and muffed me.
Today was the first day of our freshman year and dad flew Ty out here so she could be here for our first week of school because we haven't ever had a first day without Ty and he didn't want to break our tradition.
