The Tales Of The Katajimochi

The First

The Katajimochi was not always there own clan They Where a branch of the canojiho clan and had No lands

But one of the Katajimochi wanted change his name was Jatoh he was the heir to their clan  as Any nobel he was trained in the art of War and fighting witch he was very Good at his weapon was the katana he and his Two brothers  had the same traits

But the canojiho was a warrior clan and thus jatoh was Forced to Go to War early in his life at the tender age of sixteen and the Katajimochi was poor all he had was his family katana of Hjuri

And in this War he became known as Jatoh the blood drinker

When he came home 3 years later at age nineteen he started to build up his fathers farm

When the canojiho clan leader died Jatoh saw his chance he didnt swear a oath to the old canojiho clan chiefs son

He took his brothers to te nearest village and promised Wealth if They followed him in his War and 30 villagers Said yes and these became the first samurai of the Katajimochi

He marched with his Two brothers and 30 armed peasants to the next village and told them to join and thus the Katajimochi had Two villages and 30 samurai

Jatoh knew that War was near he gathered the 30 samurai and all there familys at their farm Then hired the villagers to raise the farm and when that was Done  Stones Where brought and a shiro built all the samurai started training to be real samurai

They stayed in there lands for Some time until a ronin came to the castle with an offer he was a trainer Jatoh hired him he brought news that the entitrty of Japan was in chaos all of the clans was at war

Ever since the canojiho shogun had died and Jatoh saw his opertunirty and so he marched into the soguyi clan teritory They also small and week

His units went to their minor city and told Them to surrender witch They did on one demand that Jatoh Would marry hyuki the soguyi clans princes

He accepted and so the soguyi clan became vassals and the number of troops moved from 30 to 40 and Jatoh's new wife hyuki was beutifull the night after the wedding it was anounced that a Prince Would be born

And to hounor his son Jatoh built a small shiro on a hill

When his son came he Was named Jatoh after his father from the second he could walk he studied and trained to be a great ruler and Even greater warrior at the age of ten he moved to his castle now the second castle ever to be built by the Katajimochi

Jatoh the elder knew that with power came enemys so his old castle was a powerfull one But he wanted more so he made a second castle a bigger one right by the first one and conected them with a bridge and named the complex Fyriuki

And this was How it continued for a time Jatoh and his son marched from city to city and growing there teritory and when Jatoh the elder was 61 he died due to a disese
