Let's start the Throwback!

for my bestfriend!

We weren't born as sisters or even as relatives,

We didn't grew up together and built some memories,

We were strangers then in a busy world,

But God planned our friendship and made the fate rolled.

You are now celebrating your 21st birthday,

And I prepared a throwback of our craziness today,

It may sound odd to say let's reminisce,

But it fits every moment that I will surely miss.

Saying I love you and I miss you are part of us,

Giving encouraging words that wouldn't last.

Cliché to say we're partners in crime,

But together our little adventures outshine.

College years were very indelible,

Remembering our faces then were epically incredible,

I really couldn't imagine how it happened,

Or why those faces of us became a comedy all of a sudden.

I don't know why and how we became friends,

Was it on the moment they declare the earth would end?

Or when you discovered you like reading fiction books

And maybe you noticed that I was sometimes in a nerdy looks.

Do you remember the Paulinian Night?

You hide yourself from the guy at the right,

We didn't fully enjoy that ball,

Coz some stupid plan made your tears fall.

We promised not to marry that soon,

But the wedding booth turned your marriage as early as the first moon,

I even never had a chance to be your maid of honor,

Because I was shocked and was still in a state of horror.

How about the search-in that we attended?

We tried to sense the call that we needed,

I thought one of us will be a nun someday,

But we're still in the outside world today.

Code name for others were part of us,

So they wouldn't know they were in the class.

We talked till midnight struck,

And see each other with eye bags as big as a truck.

Please remember I am not your boyfie,

Never in the history will it be,

I am your best friend and your buddy,

Forget it and I'll kill you endlessly.

Years from now, we will take our separate paths,

We will build our dreams in a different spot,

But when you need someone, just call,

Surely, I will pick it up like it is a protocol.

You're beautiful, amazing and one of a kind,

You're like a treasure that's hard to find,

You're undeniably loved by many,

Love from your family and friends including me.

As my last confetti before putting an end,

Give me a privilege to say this to you my friend,

More happy birthdays to come is all I want for you,
