Washington failed defending country, Yorktown

Shocking news regarding former general Washington. The grand revolution in its critical last and deciding battle against the Brits in Yorktown ended up in a failure for the Americans. Sources say that America will lay its weapons down. American generals and Brittish generals have decided that the revolution is no more and America will forfeit their rights.

The failure, Washington said, was due to a major loss before the battle which was planned without his knowledge under command of General Hamilton, emotional stress coming from the loss of 2 soldiers who had good connections with General Hamilton, the tragic event of General Lafayette in Chesapeake Bay who disappeared without any note or prior agreement and the overall lack of communication of Congress.

Congress begs to differ and has stripped Washington from all his power and has been banned from Congress meetings. He now resigns back in Mount Vernon.

This all could be summed up in a simple sentence:

America had lost the revolution.

Y/N gasped for air, hair in her eyes, only able to use her legs as support to keep her head above water as she was holding John in her arms. She coughed really hard and felt as if she was going to puke. Saliva kept welling up in her mouth and she kept spitting it back into the sea. She gasped for air again before a wave hit her, making her and john go under. Scared of her life and John's, she firmly grabbed John and swam up. It was so dark and cold and she couldn't even tell air and water apart. Suddenly she felt a sharp pain in both of her legs. She screamed into the night sky before falling back into the water, sinking down with John trailing behind her.

Y/N's eyes opened. She arose from the uncomfortable position she had been laying in, crunching down on the sand that had gotten into her mouth. As soon as she looked down, she saw something she hadn't seen for ages. Her tail. Confused she slowly let her fingertips caress her long lost body part. She looked up and a few feet apart from her, she saw John laying down on the sandy bottom. In shock, she swam toward him only to realize that-

"Wait," She stared at John, horrified as to what she saw. A long cyan tail instead of legs. She backed up a bit. "What'd I do?" She whimpered before approaching him again. His face was to be buried in his curls. Seems like his hairband must've snapped. He still had his white shirt and blue coat on. Y/N sat down next to him, hands in her hair. "Shoot, shoot," She slowly mumbled.

All of a sudden, she heard a whimper. She looked to her side and saw John trying to push himself off the floor. "John," She cried and tackled him in a hug. John, who had just woken up and was recently shot in the shoulder by one of Peggy's henchmen, howled in pain as the mermaid tackled him to the ground. Y/N quickly realized her mistake and got off him, backing away slowly.

John grasped his shoulder left shoulder with his shaking right hand and whimpered in pain. "John, take off your shirt," Y/N demanded. John, in the middle of his pain episode, stopped, looked up at Y/N and said: "Do you really think it's the time for me to deflower you, b*tch?"

Y/N narrowed her eyes. "No, so I can look at the wound," She said. When she didn't get an answer, she took off his coat herself and ripped the chemise at the part where the wound was. It seemed that the bullet just went through the top of his shoulder. Luckily for both of them, the bullet was already out. But his left shoulder seemed to be damaged for the worse. Y/N had to rip up the chemise and wrap it tightly around his shoulder in multiple layers.

"John," Y/N said to catch his attention. John glimpsed at her through his curly hair. "We need to treat your wound," She said and threw his arm over her shoulder, as soon as she swam up, John started to freak out.

"WHAT THE F*CKING MOTHER F*CKING SH*T?! WHERE THE ACTUAL F*CK DID MY DIDDLY DARN LEGS GO?!" He shrieked as he stared at his tail. "I'll explain later, let's get you proper treatment," Y/N denied to explain and swam forward. "WHERE THE F*CK DID YOUR LEGS GO?!" John practically screamed. "I'll explain later," She reassured him again.

"BULLSH*T," John yelled, but this time, Y/N ignored him and kept swimming. John decided to remain silent as Y/N did not respond to any of his curses. As they swam a figure seemed to be following them. Suddenly it sped up and jumped infront of them. Both of them shrieked but Y/N stopped as soon as she saw who it was.

I slowly reached for the bottle and when I had it in my hands. The guy smirked wide. "When do I have to bring these battleplans?" I asked as he chuckled. "I don't care, you need to build trust with that Alexander. It will take time, but don't take a lifetime," He told me as I nodded. "Swim up and drink up," He told me before swimming away. "Wait!' I yelled before he left. He turned around. "What's your name?" I asked as I gripped my hands tight around the bottle.

"That's for me to know and for you to think about!" She beamed as she looked at the guy infront of her. "THAT'S NOT MY NAME!" He screamed. The blonde-haired guy calmed down and stared at Y/N and her wounded friend. "Can you stop being mysterious and tell me your name, then?" Y/N smirked. He scoffed and folded his arms, but gave in.

"My name is Robin,"
