Chapter 1

Marinette's POV

I was walking to school, surprising she was on time today. I saw this white van parked outside the Bakery. I looked at it and saw two guys in there looking at I. I was shaken from her thoughts when Alya called to me.

"Marinette come on we're going to be late!" Alya called to her. I looked at the van one last time as it shifted gears and drove off. I couldn't help but have this off feeling in my stomach, I pushed it to the side and walked over to Alya, Nino and Adrien. I had finally broke the aquardness between me and Adrien. We became really good friends, I still love him to death but i want to get to know him better. As I reached them Alya pulled me into a bone-crushing hug. 

"Mari, you need to just get to school in the morning. 12 girls have already gone missing, I don't want that to happen to you. Ok girl?" Alya said

"Of course. I will be speedy from now on." I said with a smile. We walked to class but I still felt like I was being watched. I looked over my shoulder and the van was parked out the school this time. A shiver ran down my spin. I plastered on a smile for my friends and kept walking to class.

Adrien's POV

Marinette was acting funny, I saw her look back and then I saw her shiver. I took a quick glance and saw a white van parked out outside. I stepped closer to her, and gently brushed her hand. She looked up and smiled. I saw that her smile was fake and sighed in relief. She gave me a real smile and continued walking. Nino and Alya didn't seem to know that Mari was acting strange. When we got to our class, we all flinched as we heard the most annoying high-pitched voice in the universe. 

"ADRIKINNS!" Chloe yelled as she pushed Marinette away from me and hugged my arm. "Mari-trash what are you doing with my Adrikins!? Why don't you leave before you ruin anything else." I turned and saw Mari's eyes tear up. I pushed Chloe off of me and helped Marinette up. "Chloe that was very mean. Why would you say those things to her?" Chloe scoffed "Why wouldn't I? She is such a piece of trash. You should just leave." Marinette got up and ran out of the room, Alya close behind.

Marinette's POV

Marinette couldn't stand it anymore. Chloe was just being mean, as soon as Adrien let go of me I raced out of the school with Alya on my heels. I stepped out of the school and rounded the corner. I couldn't breath and started to slow down. Alya cought up to me and gave me a hug. We stood there for awhile till these two guys came up to us and grabbed our arms. I looked around but there was no one there. I kicked and screamed but they were too strong. I looked over and saw Alya struggling as well. I saw that she was close enough for me to distract the man for Alya to escape. I pulled my entire body weight on my left foot and I kicked the man where the sun don't shine. He released Alya and she sprinted back to the school. I knew I wasn't getting out of this so I yelled as loud as I could before everything went black.

Alya's POV

As soon as the guy released me I ran to the school. I was struggling with my breath, as i climbed the stairs I slipped but regained my footing. Marinette's screams echoing in my head. I burst through the door and sank to my knees. Nino and Adrien instantly by my side. Tears poured down my face, my breathing became raged. Nino gently rubes circles on my back. Then they asked the question that i was dreading to answer. "Alya, where is Marinette?" I calmed down as best I could and told them what happened. When I finished Adrien burst out of the room. I tried to get up and follow but my legs wouldn't move. Nino picked me up and placed me in my seat and hugged me. I tried to calm down but I knew what she did to get that man to let me go. Then realization came crashing down. I may never see my best friend again.

Marinette's POV

I woke up with my hands tied behind me and my ankles tied together. I tried to righten myself up, but I couldn't move. I opened my eyes and saw the two guys that were sitting in the van. I still felt my purse on me, which means Tikki is still with me. The guys noticed my movements and walked up to me. "Your awake, excellent. We have a job for you. And you will do it, or will kill all your little friends and family. Alya, Nino, Adrien, Sabine, Tom."

I stared at the wide eyed. "Don't touch them!" I snarled. One of them took a step forward and bent down and grabbed my face. "Don't worry we wont hurt you ladybug. We know that your Ladybug, We know that if we take one of you earrings then you can't transform. Which is exactly what we did. You aren't going anywhere Marinette. Now lets have some fun." As he said that he pulled a knife out of his back pocket. He brought it right above my leg and made three slashes across my leg. I bite my lip, refusing to scream. He must have know this because he dragged the knife down my leg. The pain getting worse the father and deeper he went. I let out a small whimper and he stopped. He grabbed my chin forcing me to look at him and he smirked. 

"Now that wasn't so bad. If you refuse to do the jobs we tell you to then-it will only get worse." He slapped me and walked out with his buddy. I crawled to the wall and leaned against it. Tikki flew out of my purse and cuddled my cheek, I flinched a little. Blood was dripping from my wounds, I held in my cry. "Tikki you need to go find Chat. You know where we are he is the only one that can save me." I said, I could feel the tiny tears that fell out of my eyes. "No Marinette, I am not leaving you. What if something bad happens and I can't save you."

"Tikki, I will be fine. I just need you to unbound me. I already have a plan going on in my head, just get Chat. Please." She nodded and untied me and flew out the window. I sat against the wall and stared at the sun in the sky. I started to form my plan of escape.

Adrien/Chats POV

Marinettes been kidnapped and I couldn't save her. What kind of superhero am I if I can't save my friend from being kidnapped. I jumped from building to building and I saw this red blurr flying frantically all over the place. "Go over there." Plagg said in my head. I nodded and jumped over to her. It looked like a red bug-mouse.

"Hey, is everything alright?" She shook her head and fell to the ground. I scooped her up and took her home. I jumped in my room and released my transformation, Plagg was instently by her side. He gently poked her. "Tikki wake up, we need to know what happened." He said gently. I have never seen Plagg this gentle. I heard her whisper a name. "Marinette"
