Hey there my little cupcakes I'm baaaaack sorry about my random hiatus but this is my new story i hope you all enjoy it please watch the vid to the side it is my randomness but it is also Nevaeh's audition tape skip to 1:45 . :)

Nevaeh's POV

My hands are shaking and I feel like I'm going to throw up. Why am I overreacting to to something so small all I have to do is press send and then it will all be over.

"Hey gurl, hey" I hear Caitlynn yell as she comes up to my door. " You're never gonna guess what I just found out."

"No, I'm probably not. You mine as well tell me cause I will never figure it out" she laughed at me. She knew me since we were little, when everyone went to ignore the new girl I remember running over towards her and promising to be her friend forever so she will never be alone. We had been friends ever since, but we act and look completely different. She has fiery red hair while I have boring chocolate brown, she has bright green eyes mine are a deep blue. I'm shy and quiet and she is loud and obnoxious, I still love her though.

"Ok, girl time to get out of lala land and join the real world. I have just found out there is a contest to win a record deal with Syco records" she screeched.

"Please calm yourself and before you ask, no I am not going to enter the stupid contest." I said crossing my arms over my chest like a little kid, well a little kid in a 16 year old body.

"Isn't that like a record company in like England, I hate to break it to you kitcat but we live in Orlando, Florida the biggest tourist trap of the world not there." As I said this she frowned but then regained her smile in lightning speed.

"The contest is open worldwide girly so don't even try to get out of it" she said smirking. Grr she knew I hated entering all these stupid contests, I'm an ok singer not the best by far. So no matter how many times she tries to beg me I say no.

"AWWWW, c'mon for me" she said batting her eyelashes.

"AAHH, ok fine if it will make you stop pestering me" I said appeasing the beast before she tried to force me to.

"EEEEEE let me go get my camera brb" she ran out of the room like she just drank fifteen energy drinks. I laughed as she left well lets see how bad I look right now. I get up and walk into my bathroom and look a the horrific face looking back at me makeup smeared, hair a hot mess, and random bruises around my cheek. Well I guess it is time for a shower.

By the time I get out and look decent Caitlynn is back with her camera. "Wow you don't look like the Nevi I left here a few minutes ago" she said winking. "Ok sit there and I'll start recording you, the rules are you have to sing two songs that are meaningful to you. Which ones do you want to do" she asks.

"I know what song I'm going to do just start recording please" I say.

"OK girl just introduce yourself, say your name, age, location, the song names, and please for god sakes smile your gorgeous baby" she said laughing. She pressed the record button then I was on.

"Hi, my name is Nevaeh Piro'mally. I'm sixteen years old and I live in Orlando, Florida. The songs that I will sing for you today are Colors of the wind by Serena Williams but the Disney version and For the love of a daughter by Demi Lavato. I hope you will consider me as a contestant." I finish my introduction and flow with ease into my first song.

As I finish I feel soft tears cascade down my cheeks I say a quick thank you and Caitlynn presses the off button. She runs over to me and pulls me into a big hug. "You did great Nevi if they don't pick you then they are deaf and dumb." I laugh along with her.

She looks down at her watch for a brief second and her smile fades. "Aww shh.. shnap, I'm late" she always tries to cover up her cursing when shes with me she knows how much I hate it wen she curses.

"Whats the hurry I thought you were gonna stay for dinner then we could send in my audition together." I really didn't want her to leave, I didn't want to have to eat dinner alone with my mom since my sister went to college with my brother, it just left the two of us.

"Sorry baby you know I would love to stay but have a project due tomorrow and me and Chris have to finish it. I was supposed to meet him at my house at eight, and right now it is nine. I'll talk to you later Nevi. Just upload the video on the website before the deadline at midnight okay." She said throwing me her sd card and waving goodbye.

C'mon, man up Nevaeh you can do this. All you have to do is press send. Before another thought comes to mind a I press enter and hear a whoosh sending my entry away with my hopes and dreams attached.
