Becoming Mrs. Smith

THE BAY

I rolled over in bed looking out the window seeing we were still in the sky. I was still recovering from last night but I felt so good. Rodger was finally keeping his promises and I was here for it.

I heard the kids talking on the other side of the door and Rodger wasn't in here so that told me I was the last to get up.

"Bout time you woke up." Rodger said with a smirk making me flip him off. "Goodmorning y'all." I sat at the mini bar grabbing a piece of pineapple to eat. "Goodmorning mommy." Ari came over giving me a big hug making me smile. Cassity brought Carter to me and he was just smiling looking crazy with his wild hair.

"Hey baby, Goodmorning!" I rubbed our noses together making him laugh. I kissed his hands bouncing him up and down on my lap as he devoured the strawberry. Rodger stood behind me massaging my back making me smile. "Goodmorning daddy." I bit my bottom lip giving him a kiss.

"Ewww!" They all said at once making us laugh. "How y'all think y'all got here? Cassity and Cj play slow, y'all old enough!" Rodger said. " Stooop!" I pushed him making them laugh. "I don't get the joke." Ari said with a confused look making Rodger laugh. "Good, you don't need to get it baby." I looked Rodger up and down. He could be so nasty at the wrong moment in front of people.

"Yooo, the pilot just hit me up saying we landing in the next thirty minutes." Rodger sat his phone down. I smiled ready for the island and the alcohol that was waiting on me. I didn't know if it was a private island or a resort of some sort. "I'm take some lit ass selfies out here man." Cj jumped in the seat sitting next to window for good light. I laughed shaking my head. "Selfies? Selfies? Nigga what selfies? That's the most light skin shit I heard in a long ass time. You'd think Cassity a' say something like that." Rodger said making me laugh.

"The ladies love it and that's who I do it for. It's the eyes man." He shrugged putting on his "light skin face".

"You light skin too daddy!" Rodger picked her up out the chair holding her. "I know but I'm a dark skin on the inside, just ask mommy." He turned his head at me smiling and winking at the same time. "Rodgerrr!" Cassity and Cj laughed like it was funny.

He chuckled sitting her back down hugging my neck but I pushed him away playfully. Carter started laughing making me smile. "Son this is going to be a long thirty minutes."

"Oh my God! Mommy look!" Ari said.
"Yooooo!" Cj dragged pulling out his phone to take pictures.
"The gowrls are about to get all the highlights!" Cassity squealed clapping her hands.

I looked out the window in complete shock as we landed on this beautiful private island. There were fancy bungalows a good stretch apart lined up. Facing the bungalows was this long wooden bridge that sat on the water leading to two of them. Which I'm assuming were ours.

"This is sooo beautiful Rodger, thank you!" I said giving him a few pecks making him laugh proudly. "You know I gotta show out for y'all, y'all my family and I love y'all." He said making me smile.

"We love you too!" The kids said rushing Rodger with hugs making us laugh. I was happy that they were happy.

As soon as the plane settled they grabbed our bags and we were finally getting off.

I breathed in the fresh air as the kids walked around closely still taking it all in.

"Welcome to Cayos Cochinos, Bay Islands!" Two men from the island walked up with wine glasses passing them out.

"Don't give my kids no alcohol." Rodger said stealing the words right out my mouth. "No alcohol, just sparkling!" The man explained as he nodded his head to the glass. "Oh okay, well y'all drink up then!" Rodger said making them happily grab a glass.
