The lights flickered in the academy as Ruki, Yuma, Kou and Azusa strolled through the long and never-ending hallways. Girls done what they always did as soon as they spotted the boys; squealed and drooled.
Ruki was looking around in complete boredom, his eyes scanning each person as they walked by. All he could see was food. Nothing else.
The scent of human blood filled his senses and he caught himself struggling for a tiny moment.
No longer than a second later, they stumbled upon their arch enemy's - the Sakamaki's.
Ruki's instant reaction was rolling his eyes and feeling the smallest bit of annoyance and irritation.
The red head, known as Ayato, looked towards the group of four and spat in disgust just at the sight of them.
His brothers, Laito and Kanato, were accompanying him as time flew by, but they too caught sight of them.
A sadistic grin tugged at Ruki's lips as he and the three other boys stopped dead in their tracks to stare back at the other boys.

"What are you doing here, asshole" Ayato wasn't asking a question. It was more of a 'get out of my territory'.
Ruki chuckled, tucking his book under his arm and sighing softly.
"I could ask you the same thing, but it's a waste of time challenging someone as arrogant as you" not a word was paused or stuttered. Every sound that left his throat was clear and vocal, but it drove Ayato up the walls with anger and frustration.

"The fuck you say to me, half blood?!" The red head screamed at Ruki and before any of them knew it, Ayato violently shoved Ruki against the nearby wall.
Ruki choked on his own breath, softly flinching before staring right into the hunter green eyes that belonged to the raging pure blood.
"You heard me, scum"
Just as Ayato was about to raise his fist to hit Ruki square in the jaw, Laito ran up to him and grabbed his arm roughly.
"Ayato stop it! Eve wouldn't want this!" Ayato froze at his brothers words, his hands began to shake and his became incredibly fast.
The red head was beginning to hyperventilate, causing Ruki to widen his eyes in shock at the sudden change of emotion.
"Don't you-" Ayato grabbed his brothers shoulders as tears streamed down his face.
"Say her name!" He cried, his face red with embarrassment and his eyes boring into the matching ones his brother owned.
"Okay! I'm sorry! I'm just making a point Ayato, if she was here she wouldn't want this" Laito hissed, grabbing Ayatos neck and forcing him off with a big shove.
Ayato stumbled behind, his back hitting the wall harshly and his arms wrapping themselves around his torso.
The mentioning of his sisters name rung in his head for a solid minute before he snapped back into reality.
"Teddy agrees, your behaviour is sinful and our sister would surely agree... isn't that right teddy...?" Kanato hid the lower half of his face behind his beloved teddy, it's heady eyes drinking in all of its surroundings.

Ruki, still slammed against the wall, was deep in thought. He tensed and felt his chest begin to burn with the name spilled from Laito's lips.

"Eve..." he whispered lowly, narrowing his eyes and clinching his fists.

"Eve... Sakamaki..." the realisation slowly sank into his mind and his mind couldn't make up a reaction. He couldn't believe it. There was no doubt that what Eve's family was... was the people standing in front of him.
"Hmm? You know her?" Laito strolled up to the tall half blood and sent him a vicious glare so full of despise and hatred.
Ruki straightened his body out and fixed his attire.
"I do, as a matter of fact" Ruki mumbled to Laito so neither Ayato nor Kanato could hear.

Laitos eyes shot open and he was about to say more until another voice interrupted him.
"Ruki, I request your presence" Shu was standing at the corner of the hallway and Ruki knew Shu had a thing or two to say to him the moment he spotted him. The blonde male stood tall and his ocean blue eyes were dangerously intense. The two red headed brothers stormed away in a flash, leaving the two older males to regard each other in silence.
"I need an explanation, Shu... please" Shu surprised to hear desperation and a hint of sadness, seeing Ruki's eyes glistening in the lamp up in the wall.
"What do you want to know then?" He replied bluntly, resting his backside on the staircase and staring at Ruki like a piece of meat.
Ruki swallowed the saliva from his mouth even though his month felt like the driest desert.
"Is she your sister?" Ruki asked hesitantly, watching as the blonde tapped his foot out of boredom before looking up.
"Is who our sister?" Shu snapped.
"Eve!" Ruki yelled, a bit too loud, causing Shu to teleport right infront of him and shove his body against the wall, eyes full of rage and sadness.
"Don't you yell her name" he slat in the half bloods face, his voice dripping with venom that made Ruki shiver on the inside.
"I'm sorry..." he didn't mean it
Shu knee Ruki didn't mean it just by reading his face but he let it slip.
"Yes she is, how do you know her?" Shu had Ruki by the throat and his breath hitched, looking at the blonde as if he had some kind of contagious disease.
"She killed me when I was a human" Shu's grip tightened on Ruki's neck and he felt himself grunt.
The blonde leaned back, his hand still wrapped around the ravenette's throat and his other hand draped to his side.
"That's understandable, any one of our kind would he happy to kill a spoiled brat such as yourself" the blonde let go of Ruki's throat which caused him to sigh in relief and rub his throat as if it was sore.

"Why you..." Ruki's voice trailed off until another voice abruptly interrupted his sentence.
"Ruki! Man we gotta go!" Yuma screeched from down the hall which made Shu's eyes widen and his mouth hang open slightly. The blonde took off, teleporting away and without a single trace of him or his scent.
Yuma came running around the corner and roughly grabbed Ruki's shoulder.
"Cmon idiot!" He lightly slapped Ruki across the face before forcing him forward and walking him to where the others were.
Ruki has rage boiling inside of him but this gave him a huge advantage.
If the sakamaki's cared so much about their younger sister, Ruki could get the ultimate revenge on them and their sister by ending Eve's life.

He just needs to find her...
